"OATH BREAKER, PROMISE KEEPER"

The fight with a Green Hag left the party leader with an unexpected consequence. An Oathbreaker Knight visited camp for a reckoning, and afterward left our Aasimar Paladin with a shift in his power. With this sudden change, the party continues through the Mountain Pass, bidding farewell to Act 1 of our journey.
Our companions' stories further unfold; As Shadowheart's once-lost memories gradually return, so too does a dark influence. The Darkness leading up to Moonrise Towers doesn't appear to affect her, causing the young cleric to believe her Patron of Darkness blesses her, but something else may be at work. Gale receives a visitor with grim news. His former love, and the goddess of magic herself, demands Gale use his explosion Orb to destroy the dark entity plaguing this world: The Absolute, and that by doing so he may redeem himself in her eyes. However, doing so would also kill Gale. Finally Karlach, whose heart was replaced by a Hellish engine, feels the device growing unstable. We must find her engineer, Damien, as soon as possible.
