Actually no, that's not how it works, every woman has a set number of eggs, that's it, you don't get more, so as long as Adeline's periods don't get interrupted for some reason she should stop getting them in her 40's-50's max. So actually not a bad deal.

Since she stopped aging in her 20's, she likey has around 300,000 eggs left. So assuming she wont lose any more from ageing, and now only now from her periods, she still will have to go though around 25,000 years of menstruating.

The pain of forgetting or seeing someone forgotten is a horrid one to imagine its why art work of people with deteriorating minds and memory is frightening to look at and disturbing in everyway... even if that doesn't happen whats worse is eventually she will have so many memories they all blur faces indistinguishable

I’d love immortality like this, ik a lot of people say they wouldn’t cause the pain of losing everyone, but imagine how many people you could meet, how much you could accomplish, and how many lives you could positively affect. If the immortality is like hers, and you are finally fed up with being immortal you’d just take some pills and go to sleep for good.

Most people dreams about living forever and this movie shows how lonely and difficult it is to live a life where you have to change identity every few decades and seeing your love ones slowly age while you remain the same.
I love how you interject with a funny statement in the middle of your narrative. It usually catches me off guard because I’m so enthralled and following the narration so closely.
Damn, this movie is just sad, you see everyone passing away but you're still in this world grieving. The people who used to know you has to let you go because you need to change your identity, Elis' father(William) was also a true love but it's heartbreaking seeing them not together anymore because of how the situation is, after so long they finally met but in a different way. :)
