I found that spending a few hours to build the columns and beams in advance of getting the whole team together allowed for fast progress. With those prepped, it took three competent DIYers a day to get the structure erected and roof built and installed, leaving just some finishing touches (adding fashia, trusses) for the next day.
That Day 1 -> Day 2 transition had me rolling. Didn't expect it

What did you all add to the top to keep the water from coming through the gap from the house to the gazeebo?
Inspiring video.....I want to know which side is 14ft and which one is 12ft. Can you please share that with pics? I have 24ft * 15ft patio and i am planning to buy 2 of them.
Just curious what the height measurement from where the roof starts at the corner to the ground is?
Did you not use the weather stripping metal on inside or top?
Having trouble figuring out those ridge clips.
I received my pergola the wood looks almost bare what color is it supposed to be and how would I make it stand out. Should I oil it or stain the wood poles ?

@1:17 is that post split right in the middle? For the cost of these gazebos, it shouldn't be.
Did you anchor the post down to your deck? I might be overthinking this but I just bought mine and I'm thinking of putting four concrete slabs on every post for a more sturdy and stable structure. Liked your video and honesty
Yes we bought some panels that attach the posts to the deck and essentially nailed them in. We didn't use concrete slaps or anything, but that might be a good idea.

Also, what do the instructions recommend? Concrete pillars or not?
Lol,wow I built this gazebo as a side job after working a 8 hour day and it takes me and the other guy that helps me about 4 in a half or sometimes will b done in four hours

No we did not have to do anything like that. Just assembled it =)
There is a difference between make or assembly. For making you have to design,cut, glue and screw everything. And paint or stain
In how many boxes was the gazebo in ?
Just got mine at Costco. Came in 3 Boxes. Fairly heavy.
