    Cool feature for sure. You can also spray the lumber with the same bedliner material to increae its durability and have it match the rest of the bed.

    I used some cheap netting cut to fit, and 4 carbine clips to attach to the rear tie downs.Also a couple boxes for groceries :)

    Why didn't you just put the milk and Dr Pepper inside the truck and you could have use the $5 on something else.

    How are the LEDs working on your truck, that you added a few videos ago? I’m thinking of ordering them, and switching mine out.

      Tony Pesos Hey! They are working great! Probably a little too bright, but they are not running all the time, so I shouldn’t get in trouble lol. I put 2 of the extra 194 license plate LEDs my pack came with in my Dad’s 07 Sierra and found out that polarity matters on those. Must of gotten lucky on their orientation during the install for my truck.

    Why not just use a large storage bin for groceries and secure it with a strap

    • @TruckOwnership101
      @TruckOwnership101  Před 2 lety +1

      Doesn’t this seem faster? Plus I’d rather have a board to deal with then a tub if I suddenly needed my full truck bed for something.

      @Evgenya Permekova
      Speaking from experience- having a tub/bin in the bed is a surefire way to find yourself using it as a catch-all for things like straps, bungees, tow rope, and misc gear/tools/equipment and then when you need it for groceries- it’s full. They’re also not typically strong or durable. Also- if you frequently need to haul lumber or oversized items, then the bin becomes a nuisance. If it’s full of crap- it’s heavy and either way, full or empty, if you have it in the bed and need the bed space unexpectedly for larger items…you’re stuck with trying to figure out what to do with it, and/or the stuff it’s currently holding.
      Majority of truck owners need and utilize some type of cargo management system for their truck bed. Why you feel it was necessary to come here and suggest the video idea lacks merit is beyond me. I’m here because I searched for vids on DIY truck bed dividers since bins are a pain in the ass. Why are you even here?

      @@TruckOwnership101 yes exactly! I replied something similar before seeing your response. You can tell who here in the comments has a truck just for the sake of owning a truck, and who here has a truck and actually uses it for truck intended purposes 🙄🙄. Nice vid. Thanks for sharing. I have a ‘21 F-150 and the general principal of your vid still applies. I’ve never seen anyone point out the dual cargo zone that can be created in the Silverado with just a few pieces of lumber. That’s pretty slick! I’ll be scoping out my truck bed this weekend to see if I’ve got any similar intentional styling that would allow me to do something similar without the bed modification I’ve seen some people do via brackets and hinges.
      Thanks for the vid! I’ll be sure to check out some of your other content.

      @@nicholem4831 lol you are busy doing the opposite of looking the video but busy critiquing my comment of opinion. There’s 100 ways to do something I’m out of opinion and everyone’s different experience and situation. It’s called agree to disagree in life but instead you’re questioning why am I on the video making a comment I didn’t see in your rules that you were not allowed to make any comments I thought comment section is for leaving a comment and not for people to scroll and criticize comment. Did you too by any chance get hired by youtube to be the critique of comments on peoples videos because if that’s a job let me know I’ll apply for the position
