Imagine waiting 3 years for Ventis story quest 2 just for nothing interesting
During weinlesefest Venti also used his powers so people could hear the voices of lost loved ones, Razor saw his parents for a brief moment, Diluc, Kaeya, and Rosaria also heard the voice of their fathers. (or in Rosaria's case someone who was like a father to her)
I hope we get his second story quest soon, I feel like it will give us more information on Istaroth and what might have happened to her. Maybe she's even the one singing when we're just logging into the game.
One thing I noticed with Venti is that he seems to know everything that happened and will happen, the past it´s irrelevant if you know the future, like I think he does, that´s why he´s so uplifting all the time, because he knows everything will be ok.
"The prodigal son" maybe has relation to Venti serving Celestia, as an Archon, considering your theory about the actual Primordial One being an impostor
And Venti basically did the same Kairos did in Enkanomiya: the tiny wisp heard the prayers of Gunnhild and aided her clan, just like Kairos aided Enkanomya despite it being abandoned underground by all gods.

On one of his voice lines he mentions meeting traveler before,

1. living in a time loop
2. Joking (Highly unlikely)
3. Referencing Traveler's twin
4. Can perhaps see the future or travel time and got confused somehow

Out of all of these , the one who got my interest more is "the prodigal son" i have a theory that since istaroth and celistia are in a fight, venti went out of his way and became a servant in celistia (basically the anemo archon) him becoming the archon and receiving the divine gift (the gnosis) is the thing that istaroth disapprove of so maybe in a future quest or even venti's second story quest we will see venti going back to istaroth regretting what he did :3

Oh if you use Venti ult he forms a clock. Also since Istaroth deprives from "Ishtar" a rl deity and doves are said be her simple along with lions. You can find a lot of doves at her temple and even in Venti trailer.

It's just that the idea of calling it "son" is more of an allegory than literal. Back then the Gunnhildr ancestors, after they escaped Decarabian's storm wall, worshipped Istaroth. The saying "May the wind watch over you" was actually "May the wind and time guide your way" back then. (It's on the Time and Wind quest. Yeah same place as you pointed out, the Nameless Island, the one that needs Kaeya bridge). I think it's on the Windblume event too

about the prodigal son thingy where he regretted what he has done, i think for venti if he ever regrets something it would be helping the nameless bard and the people of mondstat for their pursuit of freedom which led to many deaths, especially the nameless bard's death
