- Waterfall series day 1 of 3. Hiked deep into the North Georgia mountains to get to Jacks River Falls. It was a long hot walk but paid off with gorgeous multiple waterfalls and clear deep pools at the bottom. Caught several coosa bass from the river and saw a black bear when I was leaving.

Looks like a perfect place for a rooster tail or beetle spin
White beetle spin red dotted
A number 1 rooster tail.
Super clear anything good works there dry fly ants n mosquitos would be great there
Enjoy watching you catch fish and the commentary you provide during the video
I'm always amazed at how much water comes down off the mountains. Creation is truly amazing!
Looked like a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. Now it's time for a shower and nap
Thank you for another great video and showing us more of the beauty our Lord has made and may he keep blessing you and your channel and your family 🙏🏻
5:48. That lol bass tail smacked the water/rock lol. The sound makes me chuckle.
Now THAT'S creek fishing adventuring! Thank you so much for taking us along! As a youth I spent many happy hours wandering thru the woods and along the creeks, but am not able to do so any more. Your video really took me back, and I thank you sincerely. I'm looking forward to the next one, but if you need a day of rest, that's fine. Don't hurt yourself!
Thanks for taking me to places I probably would have never experienced. 💯
I went backpacking there a few months ago. Took the loop. About 20 river crossings, 50 blow downs and lots of bear poop. It’s definitely the wilderness. Amazing falls
Was the trail on Jack's or the Conasauga? In January 2022 I lost my kayak on the Conasauga and was using the trail to look for it--trail crossed the river many times. I got charged by a wild boar along the trail.
Hey, John! I know you have gps on your phone, but if you're going backwoods, you might want to invest in a satellite communication device like a Garmin Inreach. It has an SOS button that you can summon search and rescue in case you get hurt bad enough to need help and don't have phone service. As always, thanks for all the work you put into making these videos.
I swear you fish all the places I wanna go fish. Thank you brother I love the motto fish anywhere cause fish are everywhere
Thank you John, that is what I was talking about in the video, in Ala. There where falls like that and I'm sure they had those same bass. Thank you for your hard work, on making these video's! Another beautiful place shared with us! God Bless you! (Glen). WV.
That hike will definitely separate the men from the boys. It also amazing that fish are above the falls.
As a young man, I hiked , camped and fished in the Cohutta wilderness .Every fish I caught in Jacks river were small trout…
Dude what a beautiful river and waterfalls That one looked like the juice was worth the squeeze. Thanks for taking us along for more Coosa bass. Blessings brother
Thank you so much it makes me feel a lil better about this world we are living in, to know there are still beautiful God made places like this left. Really brightened my whole out look so again thank you!!!!!!
What a place to fish. Great video!
Crazy, exhausting day I bet but a beautiful trip. Wish you were able to catch something good out of the pool below the falls. Thanks for putting in the work for our enjoyment.
Boy!!!i was sure feelin for you!! That had to be pretty tough!! Enjoyed the video😉👍
Watch out for Bigfoot up there brother... I think if you would throw a hook in a puddle in the middle of a parking lot you'd pull out a green sunfish or an acoasta Bass!! Fantastic video!!
Whoa. You looked WORKED getting back into the car. Good luck tomorrow. You’ll be feeling it on those first few steps of the hike for sure.
You might want to invest in a Camelbak hydration system if you’ll be doing more of these longer days. Don’t want to run out of water with miles to go to the car. Not only that but you could probably get a 2L bottle of Mountain Dew in there. 😉
Thanks again for the continued great content.
Thank you for sharing your trip with us. Brought back memorries of my own outtings from my youth and growing up in north wilkesboro,nc
I loved hiking and camping up there growing up
Man that was some beautiful falls
Pristine, beautiful waterfalls, and some nice fishing. Well done!
That ant has high hopes, just like with the rubber tree plant, if you remember that song.
Absolute beautiful place waterfalls the clear water wow you get to get us some great places John that's that's why we watch there's a lot of us can't get to wonderful wonderful wonderful. I gave you a thumbs up before even watched it the intro of and it was going to be good knocked it out of the park again.
Creek fishing with an extra dose of adventure! 👍 Love it!
From someone who does a lot of hiking, thanks for putting in the mileage. 13 miles in the mountains is no joke!
Talk about creek fishing adventures, this was for sure one. You just walked a half marathon in "street clothes" and you carried a fishing rod.
This looks like where the movie deliverance was filmed
Welcome to Georgia!!!
John, thank you for sharing what you making some beautiful memories
Love that place its 6.6 miles in and feels like 12 miles out....great video man
John oh man your living a good life. Fishing 🎣 for a job but I also know it takes alot of effort and money to fish different places and also the editing your videos. Keep up these great videos I really enjoy them.
At least you didn't run into the bear while you were on the trial. You might've had to sacrifice your beef jerky for a quick get away lol
Rewarding work...
I'm looking forward to 2 and 3.
The way you cast is amazing
This looked like lots of fun. May the fish keep biting.
I'll give the video a 10, but I can't be so generous scoring that dive.
That's a long track but what a memory
You sure do visit some beautiful places buddy
Fun video, beautiful hike, fish to boot. Great experience. Thanks for sharing.
Man...last time I was in the Cohutta in the 80's the trail to the falls was 6 miles.
This was a great video. I love the concept and the scenery. I know you are a man of faith, but please consider taking a buddy with you or the satellite GPS as mentioned if you are going so remote. A fall, dangerous cut, bear stalking etc.... and you are out there alone.... You are my favorite channel and I want to see many many more creek fishing adventures!
Thanks for these hiking/fishing/waterfall videos. I'm adding them to my list of potential trips to take with my wife who enjoys hiking but not fishing (just have to strategically pick good spots for her to rest while I fish ;-).
that's such a beautiful spot to hike, the fishing is an added bonus. very nice 👌
I think I would have to pass on that hike, don’t think I’d make it back out if I made it in. A creek like that here would just be trout, but maybe several different kinds. I hope you carry bear spray and a pew-pew with you on those hikes. Not sure about carry laws since you are crossing state lines but here you don’t really need a permit for open or concealed. We have a lot of bears around, mostly black bears but I did see a grizzly alongside the road when I was looking for moose 😳. Looked the size of a truck. Stay safe out there.
Beautiful video and looked like you were worn out. And the bear was a bonus.
Man 13 miles is a TON to do in those hills!!! Thanks for taking us on the adventure!
Amen! Thanks for sharing John.
Livin' your best life! You're blessed 🙌
Nothing better than exploring new places. Thanks for sharing John!
What a beautiful cool fishery!
What a great day!
What. A. Trip !! Thanks for taking us with you ! I'm liking this series already. The falls are so beautiful. Lot's of Coosa bass. Would never be able to hike like that anymore. When my son and I were in Scouting together, many years ago, we did a few long range hiking trips. Those were great times for us. Please, always be safe ! Randy B.
That ant and that feather!
Ellerine emeğine yüreğine sağlık süper 💯💯💥💥💯💯..
Awesome dude! It’s hotter than hell here in Arkansas today!! Great video buddy 🙏🏻

Nice Dodge truck John i appreciate your videos with All your good energy keep it up sir 😉
Your energy in your videos keep us all in a good mood John 🙂
What a beautiful place. Those were some cool fish. Cool video
Enjoy your trip.Water fall was great.
I also used to catch a lot of trout in that stretch....even in that pool below the falls. River looks low.
That would be worth the hike! Awesome!
Awesome video, but these remote locations can be dangerous. Be careful and stay safe. This one was a bit risky.
Easy going in, hard coming out. Great video!
Amazing🌲🎣🙏
Like this Brooo
God's majesty on display. I have a feeling I'm gonna love this series
That was a gorgeous waterfall. its never a bad thing catching Coosa Bass, but I am not sure if I could have done a hike like that. Another amazing video John and thank you for the journey and scripture. GOD BLESS and GO KATS!!!!!!
Beautiful treasures of your state.
Definitely inspiring me.
Had a injuried lady down there years ago made for the longest call of my EMS career! Beautiful country
oh that doesnt sound fun
@@CreekFishingAdventures oh it sucked
Great video and love the idea of the waterfall visits. Summer time creek swimming is some of the best
The movie ‘Deliverance’ came out before your time…be careful!
Beautiful place
That was a good one love fishing spots like that
Man! you were huffin it! Great vid!
Man the waters down. That waterfall going up to Jacks river normally has more water. What a Fantastic video showing off some of our beautiful falls and streams. You worked hard for that video. I've walk all the way back to the Jacks river falls, we appreciate you videoing the trip.
I made that same hike as a senior in high school (~25 years ago) and camped in there too. This video really brought back some memories (of my hurting feet/legs after carrying all my gear that far - lol)! Thanks!
Great idea man!
Just the views of nature were worth watching. Absolutely beautiful. God is so awesome.
Beautiful scenery. Great video John. God bless.
I’ve hiked that trail many times, about ten years ago I pushed my six month old son in a stroller all the way to the falls, it had big tires on it! You need to hike down to the conasauga river on top of the mountain behind Murray lake, you can still see the old train tracks that they used to log the trees out 100 years ago!
Quite an adventure in that heat! Hope you're staying hydrated internally, brother. Thanks for sharing your falls. God bless.
That was awesome John! But a 13.23 mile hike in July in Georgia...WOW! I live in Georgia and love fishing but I don't have that in me...stay safe when you're out there by yourself...that hike back would have been impossible with a broken ankle...not to mention the bears. Very cool adventure though!
Great video. Thanks for sharing your adventure!
Great John! Good job!
Your an ANIMAL John you gotta hike 7 miles back out to your truck !!!!!
God bless you on a safe trip
Great series
That was awesome !
This looks awesome! Currently 107 where I’m at and those waterfalls look perfect right about now!
Wow... Great work! Hardcore
Beautiful place to hike John, thanks for your hard work and sharing! Enjoyed it !
You put out some awesome videos and I am so glad that I subscribed to your channel. Stay safe and keep cool. By the way it got to 107° here yesterday 7-19-22
I just scouted this place out in AllTrails yesterday! Gonna make it happen soon!
Great video as always. Can't wait for the other videos. Down here in Bama, hoping to get to TN for some small mouth fishing one day
Love the content !!
I've watched about all of your videos and this might be one of my favorites. You did a great job editing it and kept it fun.
That was beautiful. Probably few people have seen it and you took us there. Thanks.
One of my favorite videos yet. Thanks for the massive effort.
