Super fun video ! I'm loving the collaboration of my three best YT fishermen ! You all never disappoint me. John, I like the music change up and the drone footage certainly added to the cinematography. Interesting that you were catching with the "Choppo" and Aaron was producing with the "Hellegrammite"! What a great scenario. Also, thank goodness Chris came to your rescue after you used up your supply of "J. Dalton Yum-Dingers"! LOL! You had to drop at least one fish on camera. Seriously though, this was one of your best for our entertainment! Three friends in boats just doing what they love, can't get no better than this! Randy B.
Great video! That said, you need to build yourself a cheap drag anchor. I watched you catch the big bass and get dragged into the trees. I made mine for less than $25.00. My design is 5 pieces of 3/8 chain cut into 12 in strips then wrapped in bicycle innertube all on a large 3/8in screw carabiner. Depending on the current that I am going to be fishing I can add or remove pieces of the chain as a drag anchor to slow me down or just stop me in place. I do have an anchor Wizard on my kayak along with and anchor trolley so I can drop my anchor chain in the front or back of my kayak in a moment's notice so I can fish upstream or downstream. This is the best solution for us kayak fishermen that love fishing creeks and rivers. If I catch a fish, I can quickly drop my anchor and not get dragged around or float downstream out of the hole I was fishing. I use mine anywhere from 2 foot of water to 20 foot of water. That's a great float... I've told Chris a couple times but these videos bring back so many memories when I use to fish alot... these sections of river hold so many fish and a huge diversity also. I REMEMBER when two rivers wasn't even there and I'd ride my bicycle over there and fish. Awesome video for sure.
I like your videos you don't have a bunch of mess added in, you show fish of all sizes, not just the big fish and make it cool to watch talking about what you use. I miss them some times and watch them later. I got a sit on kayak last year and found out how easy it is to roll it ( I'm tall and plump), couldn't get the one I wanted no funds.

Nice to see you using more baitcasters! Trust me, i was the same way I loved spinnning rods and still do but the power and accuracy with a baitcaster once you master it is way worth it. Spinning rods will definitely outperform in creek with their finesse capability though!

I'm gonna have to move down there, and go fishin' with y'all! I'm way up here in Virginia, and a lot of the fishing spots are either really hard to get to...or they're posted with No Trespassing Signs, or they're just about flat-out over-fished. I'm done with it!
@@ronaldshank7589 in East TN there are streams, creeks, and lakes within a couple miles of anywhere. MOST landowners are very nice and will let you fish. Come on down we would love to have you. East TN is a fisherman's dream. Everything from brook trout to stripers.
We should go to lost creek and fish the upper Hiwassee brother
Drill a hole in both ends of your boats. Use expanding foam to blow in and fill your hollow boats until it pushes out the other hole and you know it is full. Let it set up for 48 hours and cut the expanded foam that extended out beyond the holes. Patch with 5 minute epoxy and let cure to full strength after 24 hours. Unsinkable boat!!!
As long as you use closed cell foam!!! Lol

double solid fish - on the rubber worm! hope you can do some sw or some bigger rougher river - think about va/maryland - relatively close - do a couple floats or something - for sw get a big cast net for chum and catch more - you can grind it and freeze it in onion /mesh bag and then no mess you just hang it and let it defrost ober an hour or two - feeding frenzy and totally legal in most sw places

I fish the upper down to Nancy ward once a week me and some friends we absolutely smash them every time only use one lure Berkeley Chapo black and silver.
