My rubber bands messed up my bite my front row and bottom row don’t touch anymore and leave this space and I swear my bite was perfect and when I smile my bottom row goes back kinda far so yea I hate it

What if you run out of them Like how long can you wear them can you wear them for the whole day just take them out to eat and then put them back in or... and what if you have a severe deep over bite what will they do since the brackets from bottom braces will get crushed
I'm not in any means an expert, but I think with elastics you wear them all day(Unless specified) and take them out when you eat and brush your teeth. You should also change them throughout the day, maybe three times, cause otherwise they lose their elasticity. If you run out you should be able to get more from your orthodontist, or buy them from somewhere. I have an overbite and they put some things called turbo ramps/bites on the back of my top teeth. This CZcamsr has done a video on them if you are interested.

That's why you need to wear retainers everyday for the rest of your life or get a permanent one in your mouth after you're done with braces, or else your teeth will shift.
If you overbite is because your lower jaw is recessed and not because your upper jaw is very forward then consult him about that and see if there’s something else that can be done

I would say 3 times So like every 8 hours. I usually put a timer tho

From what i understand its kind of like training muscles in your jaw to stay a certain way but im certainly not an orthodontist
