www.horsetrainingvideos.com/f... In this video, Larry Trocha is training a very green horse to take the correct lead. She’s only been ridden a few times. The filly is not supple enough which causes her to take the wrong lead. You’ll see what Larry does to fix this problem.

I MESSED UP in the intro of this video. I said, "The hind end dictates the hindquarters". What I meant to say is, "THE HINDQUARTERS DICTATE the LEAD". If the horse takes the correct lead "behind", he'll automatically take the correct lead in front. However, vise versa is not always true.
I like her.
Thanks, Larry. I appreciate seeing a horse make a mistake that then gets corrected. Much better to see the correction than to see the horse perform perfectly.
Thanks, I agree. Best to see the mistakes and how they are corrected.
What a timely video for me and my horse Larry. My horse is coming along nicely in his training except for his right lead. He struggles to keep a right lead. I feel now encoraged to see the entire video and trainings. Thanks!
You are welcome, Ruben
She seems young. Amazing how you ask her to perform but she never blows up or spooks.
never tripped once.
Awesome!
Thanks for your feedback Zia. Much appreciated. One quick question... why would she blow up?

Besides a slight wring of her tail and losing a bit drive , she never got Tee’d off.
2nd ride, pushing her I’d expect her to over react some.
You make it look easy.
Don’t get me wrong, you offer the best training!
Thank you, Larry! I can't wait to apply these techniques to my mare who has a tendency to crossfire in the hindquarters.
You're welcome, Monica. I hope it works well for you.
