When he went to Spring I was hoping to see firstly, a bedspring, then a car suspension spring, and then, when it got all washed with spring, pic of Dick Dale!
Also when he went to Plate I was hoping to see a pic of a tiny tea plate then a major pasta plate then finally, a real plate reverb ....

      Max S.
Interesting that he never uses reverb. You won't find it on any of his live boards. He does mix in a bit of room 'verb on recordings, but live he is strictly delay.
      Strictly delay...strictly delay
      (Kill all the chidren)
      Strictly delay....strictly delay
      (Eat their hearts)
Wow, it sure does get darker with each repeat. Must be analog :D

    Tyler, Awesome video,
One thing I noticed is that I'm always on the edge of my seat to hear you play and solo,
And it made me think I'd love to hear what you can create when making your own songs.
I would love to hear something complete made by you, solely for the intention of listening to a song.
Even if it's got no drums bass or vocals, guitar only songs with layers or whatever like buckethead I'd love to hear.
    Please post 😊

The mash function can be used the other way also, I keep the shimmer on a super low setting then when I want particular notes to have that effect you step on the mash and it will take it to the max setting if you press it all the way.

I swear by my 1994 Boss RV-3 pink label. Good enough for Radiohead & Sigur Ros. Sure, it doesn't have shimmer, toneprint, or M.A.S.H but it does have the best digital plate reverb I've ever heard. The reverb+delay modes are a treat.
Wouldn't mind a HOF2 as well, or Neunaber Wet.

I had that *EXACT* Strat Tyler uses and I wish I had kept it. I replaced the white pickguard with a black one and black pickup covers just to give it a little different look, but is was the same hand rubbed American Special. Having some fun with the green screen. You should have done it for all the effects, like showing slinkies for spring reverb and maybe the vaudeville spinning plates tricks for plate reverb, and for shimmer use shots of the sun glistening off of icicles or crystal glass. Also, what stratocaster is that? It looks beautiful.

Like a few others, I thought Tyler was going to be providing insider tips to the website Reverb. I almost pulled the trigger on Amazon during the shimmer part of this demo but I could not justify another $150 pedal. I'll ask Santa. If I decide on Tyler's guitar talent, I'll probably have to ask Satan. :)
