    This video was too long. Halfway through it, I got hungry so I left it playing and went to the kitchen to fix my self a sandwich. But then I found out that I'm out of mayonnaise so I went to a store. There, I saw the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my whole life. But I'm really a shy person so I took up a three-year personality development course so I can introduce my self. She was very friendly and all, but unfortunately, she has a boyfriend. So I said, all good, I'm a mature person. I want the best for her and I harbor no illusion that I am the best person for her and she seems happy with her boyfriend, so I did not bother her anymore. But we kept in touch and we became friends and I got over my crush on her. Then she broke up with her boyfriend, we drank some alcohol because of it, I told her she'll be fine and I wished her well. I still think she's the most beautiful woman in the world, but like I said, I am over my crush on her. It was like five years already when I first saw her. Besides, I am quiet happy with the friendship I developed with her. It was more important than a crush. So we kept hanging out, drinking, having coffee, and all. I had a girlfriend, she started dating other guys. My girlfriend wants to live some other life without me in it, so I said, okay, I want the best for you and I want you to pursue your happiness. My lady friend and I drank alcohol about it, and she gave me the same advice I gave her when she was in that position and I became okay with the breakup immediately. But we were really drunk, so she spent the night in my apartment. I only have one bed, so you know what that means: She took the bed and I slept on the couch. But on the couch, I really can't sleep. Something was bothering me. So I tossed and turned for about three hours, then I finally can't take it anymore, I stood up and went straight to my room where she's sleeping. I approached the bed, gently sat on it and I reached for her shoulder to pull her closer to me. She stirred and woke up. She asked what's up. I told her, you know, the first time I saw you, I was watching a video and left it playing to get my self a sandwich then went to the store to get some mayo then I got distracted by life that I forgot to finish the video. She said, you know what, I've been wondering about a weird noise in your night drawer. So we opened that drawer, and lo and behold, there's my phone and this video still has two minutes of play time on it.

      En Japonés Con Raft If you go on Amazon, you can buy liquid lubricant that's a suspension of silicone and teflon. It works much better, it's less expensive (you get a much larger amount for the same price), and it stays exactly where you put it (no running). I use it on nuts, string trees, and bridge saddles, in addition to using it as a household lubricant.

    I totally agree with your assessment of HOSA cables. They've got anything you can imagine. Great quality and prices are very reasonable.
    One item to add is Velcro One-Wrap cable ties. You get 50 on a roll (they're about $6 per roll) and when you're using your cable, you can just wrap it around the cable so you can find it when you're ready to roll it up again!

    For me the Fast-Fret string conditioner is a must. It coats and cleans your strings, which both reduces friction and keeps the strings from corroding. It has a similar effect as the coating on Elixir or Cleartone strings, but can be used for any kind of metal strings.
    Another must is the pick wedgie. It is a tiny rubber piece that grips between the strings above the nut and gives a convenient place to keep extra picks.

    Other than the usual accessories, my favorite is a usb rechargable headphone amp. It plugs right into your guitar, has tone, volume and gain controls and plugs right into your headphones or a small speaker.
    I chill in the living room at night rock in out in my apartment while the wife and kids sleep. When I'm done...I just have my guitar, headphones, mini (fits in the palm of your hand) amp and my pick to put away.
    It beats the hell out if hauling my practice amp and cords out just to jam a bit. Its also easy to stash if I need to go do something in a hurry.
    I wish I had this since I started playing.

    I have been using Deoxit for a while now. It saved one of my amps, that I thought was going bad. Turns out I had oxidation in one of my jacks causing the audio to go in and out. Same thing one a few pedals that I've had for 15ish years.
    It's good stuff.

    So the string wipes are basically overpriced wipes, and the pot spray is basically overpriced WD-40

    • @MusicisWin
      @MusicisWin  Před 6 lety +110

      Pretty sure I wouldn't recommend using baby wipes or chlorox wipes on your strings, so no. Also pretty sure WD-40 is a petroleum product and can harm your guitar's finish, so, again, no. #Education

      @mborel Před 6 lety +6

      I'm a fan of the GHS Fast Fret cleaners, lasts much longer than a pack of wipes. Planet Waves XLR8 cleaner works the same. Also, for grippy picks, nothing beats the Dunlop Max-Grips picks, although now I need to change my guitar nickname from "Fumbles" to something else.

      Music is Win i thought wd40 is water based

    • @mborel
      @mborel Před 6 lety +10

      No, it's petroleum based, which is why it's so good at loosening rusted bolts. And you wouldn't want a water based lubricant/cleaner used on your electronics, either, as that could cause corrosion.

    • @orbit951
      @orbit951 Před 6 lety +4

      WD stands for water displacement. It's made for mechanical machinery. Deoxit instantly removes oxidation, it's made specifically for electronics and is a very different product. Works fucking great too! czcams.com/video/dZYKD3pWcpo/video.html

    Or you could just use a rubber band and a pencil as a capo and if you want to stop feedback just put a sock on your guitar just like Malcolm Young used to do

    My top 10
    (not in any specific order)
    1. Aerosol can. Those small tiny corners that are nasty and dusty? No problem.
    2. Allan wrenches. For your action. More of a must have.
    3. String cutters. Yes real strong cutters. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had some regular clippers just naw away at strings and it do absolutely nothing.
    4. Pedal board. Yes an actual pedal board. It’s so much more neat and clean and non messy than having pedals everywhere being knocked about.
    5. Backup strings. Strings break mid solo? No problem, no trip to the store, just go ahead and replace.
    6. Neck conditioner. Yes he said it here. And yeah, neck is made out of wood which is living. So you want to keep that thing moist and clean.
    7. Wireless guitar adapter. So much more neat and clean than having a cable around. Which can be stepped on and broken. This gives you so much freedom.
    8. Microfiber cloth. Clean your guitar and not worry about scratches or smudges.
    9. Capo. Obvious for playing difficult songs that actually require a capo.
    10. A kind of sheet to quickly look at if you forget how to tune to a certain tone.
    (All in my opinion)
