- We made an absolute mess removing underseal off of the classic BMW E30 Baur, but we managed to get it on the rotisserie and get a good look underneath!

Another fantastic restoration
When i did powder coating and shot blasting we built a room for the blasting of all sorts including car bodies we had no trouble removing underseal but obviously we couldn't hold the hose in one place on the bodywork or it would warp it. Shot was great as you could keep reusing it but we has to fill hoppers over and over again. Also even if you airline off at the end of the day it would send the shower tray rust stained.
Always fun to see your good work.
Great job, you could always get some bigger box sections to make some bolt on extensions to make it taller if needed.

I have a little suggestion. Buy a worm gear setup and modify your Rotisserie and install the worm gear setups. Than all anyone needs to do is spin the handle and the vehicles will rotate easily. No need for two or more people to turn any of the Rotisserie vehicles anymore... Some high end engine stands use them... Seriously worth the cost. Thumbs Up!

Awsom episode 😊 but why dont you add x2 through bolts in the angle iron instead of welding? That way you can use the cross frame across various cars.

Would sandblasting the underside of the car be quicker than wire brushing? Or is that too crude?
Gotcha. Rubberized undercoat has to be removed to enable sandblasting.
Is that a 106 GTI on the ramp?
Doesn’t your shop own a drill press? Could save some drilling with a hand held.
Why not fabricate height adjustment?
