We are attached to a rather large gas station and our biggest obstacle is either replacing or repairing the in-bay automatic. We just added bill acceptors to the bays and next spring we are going to add the air dryers as you have!
That’s awesome. Congratulations!! Yes I was in the same boat. My in bag auto was so old and couldn’t really fix if I wanted as all the parts were out dated and they didn’t make them anymore so I’m getting the new one. All good add ons and up grades. Air dryers will do great.
Because a carwash generates cash, they are easy to steal from. Don't think a family member won't be tempted- my partner's daughter clipped us for $8,000.
One thing you kind of touched on, but one thing that really grinds my gears is people filling up the garbage and taking off with out using any of my services 🤬
Got yelled at washing my vehicle at a self serve car wash simply because they weren't patient enough to wait until I was finished. Almost had to leave with my vehicle still soapy to go to an automatic car wash nearby because of these rude and disrespectful people.
Hey man I love your videos, I am a 21 year old I live in Oregon, I’m really interested in buying a self serve car wash in the next year or two, in Oregon we do have quite a bit of rain, but most Oregonians don’t mind, my local self serve is pretty busy during rainy days still, thanks for your videos I hope to Learn alot more
Where in Oregon are you? There’s an abandoned car wash in Springfield I’d love to see in business again. I thought about trying to lease it and converting it into a detailing shop but my health is such a roller coaster that I’m not the ideal person to be able to keep up with it.
@@CarWashChronicles Well keep doing what your doing ... seems to working for you I have 14 employees all retired with open schedule in life. All 4 washes have attendant on duty at least 6 hrs a day . Payroll is around $10,000 to $11,000 month . Our combined income with all 4 washes range from $150,000 month to $200,000 depending on weather and time of year. Have a great journey I'll keep watching!

Hard for me to say since I have no experience with it but speaking with other car wash owners who have subscriptions they seem to like it and works pretty well. I’ll have to do some more research and see if it’s worth doing on my new one

Ive never built one. Small lot can fit a 4 bay. Larger lot 6 bay
I wash my car MORE here in Canada during the winter due to the salt on the roads
