Radcliffe is absolutely bang on because it’s the case with any huge business and make no mistake it is a business. To us it’s the club we love and we are attached emotionally to it but to those running things it’s a business. There are many departments and they all need aligning and that takes time, removing everything that’s not working and putting everything in place that needs putting in place takes time. The manager may well not be the right one but believe this, there’s a whole more things that need sorting than that and the biggest thing is shipping the players out that aren’t right for the club and getting those in that are is the hardest thing, because it takes the longest time.

Sacking a manager doesnt work and plus, we don't really have anyone to replace him with. I say keep ETH and see what he can bring. It wont happen over night but he needs to build a team that has chemistry and a play on the pitch. Hard to do that when alot of our main players are injured and we dont have a good depth in the team. Hopefully the transfer window will hope that and get rid of players we dont need. Also once we get all the higher up like a managing director etc i think it will be alot better structure.

I don't always agree with Mark but he is right here IMO. How can it always be the managers fault time after time? All the managers Man utd have had since sir Alex and not one has been able to build a solid foundation and compete consistently at the top.

Too many of these players do not know how to play for the badge and they think they've really made it in life because they got signed for man utd. I was for sacking Ten when Ron went. Things were real bad. Plus it was obvious that we needed striker, midfielder and two backs and we got a goalie !
However, I think now it’s another 2 years wasted and sacking is another 2 years and I don’t want to die before United win something !
So my opinion has changed and I’d keep Ten. The play was good upto 3-0 but it’s the players not Ten
We got Casemiro and things turned round, we got Varane but the idea was these guys are old old old so only play them sparingly in big matches, but we’ve killed them, and killed Bruno possibly too. I’m happy we aren’t in champions league as we just aren’t good enough and would get knocked out, but Win in Europa is vital and so we need to be in that. But we need a striker a midfielder and two backs. Jonny was brought in just in case and ended up we needed him, so again we need 2 backs as injures mean we leak goals
Rashford isn’t a striker, his goals were high but that was because of Ronaldo. Once he left it showed Rashford got goals as marking Ronaldo and Ron was passing to Rashford. So we keep Rashford on the bench just in case new striker and Rasmus get injured

They are self-sabotaging - once they got renewed contracts, or they knew they are safe, they tend to relax, get injured (suddenly), then the manager, no matter how intelligent or amazing he is, he gets the blame on everything. Of course I am not absolving ETH across all matches, but even if he dictates an amazing strategy, if the players don't execute according to plan, are we blaming it on the Manager? If the players are self-sabotaging, how are gonna control that "uncontrollable" part which is the volatility of the players' attitudes?
