RS comes with brembos, a bigger motor with 100 more hp, better wheels/tires, actually functional aero, obviously AWD, and a bunch of other things and the higher package ST's can get up to 30-32k and the RS is right around 40k

MOST H8D it is but at the same time look at a lot of the other cars nowadays. Like the civic type r, or the Subaru sti, or even the stingray corvette. The stingray makes low 400hp range, doesn't have crazy brakes, weighs a decent amount for what it is, and it costs in the mid 50s so a car like an RS really isn't too bad when you look at other "performance oriented" cars

I'm an RS owner myself. I test everything in the hot hatch section and the RS was my favorite. Tried an STI, EVO X, Speed3, type R, golf R and the RS was on top for me. Pushing 430 torque and 415 Horse engine side with just a tune. Need a better clutch though.

@@interceptingfist5682 Haha I agree, dsm's are not terribly reliable. the evo is not a dsm. it has a similar engine coded the same but mounted entirely different and internally the evo 4g63 is much different. the 4g63 in a dsm is not like the 4g63 in the evo. I own a dsm, I would consider a stock evo decently reliable. I even consider some stock dsm's possibly reliable.
Its got a hood prop vs shocks because ford knows that hood shocks dont last as long when the hoods open and you need to be spending hours under there in repairs

Nope, some douche at the factory ordered the wrong gaskets and a certain number of focus's got the gasket from the mustang engine. The oil passages are in different spots on the motors and the deck height is larger so coolant and oil wasn't going to where it needed to. Bet that guy was fired hard!
