- Olive and Mabel became internet stars with millions of views over social media. Throughout the lockdown, their owner Andrew Cotter continued sharing the adventures of Olive and Mabel and also came out with a book called Olive, Mabel and Me. They have became a huge part of Tim Bolen's Feel Good Time, and this morning Tim got the chance to talk to the trio from across the pond.

I hope you have it NOW. Mine was on Backorder for almost a month. I just got it the day before yesterday. I thought it would last at least a few days, but I finished it in 2 days. Amazing Book and you'll love it!

I love the way the anchor, Tim, totally gets Andrew Cotter's fabulously dry sense of humour and reminds me how much the British have in common with our lovely Canadian cousins. I would only add that his dogs are ADORABLE! So, yeah, dogs are “mundane”, but we love them.

What an absolutely delightful interview to watch - all four of you come across so well as genuinely nice 'characters' (- I had to search for that word.. what's the collective noun for people + dogs?!), enjoying each other's company and conversation. And the genuine laughter in the background echoed my laughter! I just love Andrew's modest, understated manner. Though not a sports fan, I may be converted if this is the way of continuing to hear his dulcet tones when we get to the end of this tunnel. Thank you, and I'm off to buy the book!

@@TravelSmallLiveBig, We had two Lab Mixes. One was a Lab/Neuphie and, when he turned 5, we adopted a Lab/Keeshund Cross. Niles was the Neuphie and Scooby was the Keeshund. Niles was, constantly, embarrassed by Scooby's lack of intelligence. Olive & Mabel, might as well have been Niles and Scooby.

@@bodkinofnurk8898, YES. She knew. That was the same when he used the word Biscuit in "Trust of Dogs". I made the mistake of saying my Computer had Cookies, and Niles was right beside me. Really, I meant my Computer needed a Virus/MalWare Scan.

In a time where frankly most of us had to, and now continue to live through a year of shit like no other, Andrew and his beloved dogs have always put a smile on our faces.
He made the comment " The love of a Labrador". And I think all of us bond with our pets, but Labs have a little something extra in that department. Mine always did. It's like the dog understands the bond as much as the human, and I don't think all dogs do. It's why labs make such great service dogs.

As someone who is owned by a cat, Olive and Mabel rule.
I love the way cats and humans live together. For me their friendship is way more true.
Our Maine Coons were cool and easy going as long we fed and cuddled them when instructed - and we were blissfully happy 😍
@@ritahorvath8207 In Bristol, England they attached Web Cams to various cats to see their everyday routine. Some cats (one in particular ) literally went from home to home in search of food and treats. That particular cat had 3 different Women all believing they were the Owner :)
I have had 7 of my own dogs over the last 34 years but have Boarded in my home over 200 others and ( almost ) every one of them was friendly in many ways....
I’ve no interest other than being a fan, along with my Lab mix, Mandy, but the book is very well worth reading. I also gave a copy to my neighbor, and good reports there, too.
I have UK edition. Olive writes well.

I fostered and adopted my 37th foster dog march 20 in lockdown. My girl was 9 and the leggy job was 1. Tiffypies thought yes I'll put up with another Foster baby but then she didn't go away. And we now have a terrific family.
