Androids do not have a lidar Scanner so no.

It can’t be, it relies on the true depth camera on iphones, because it can do super high res 3d models, it’s how it scans your face every time you want to use it to unlock your phone

Yes!
yes just have to hold very still because it uses points to line up to keep track so if you move the points can lose track.
so useing tripods to rest arms onto helps keep hands away from body so you can size chest and arm armor, and keeps you more stable.

@@CertainExposures yes if you want to print a model of your head absolutely, but you won’t model every strand of hair but it will capture the length and waviness too it.
But if you have puffy hair it’s hard to see your scalp and can make scaling a helmet harder and you might oversize it if you see your hair clipping through the model.
But Since your hair can flatten down in a helmet you want to simulate that in scan so you can see how helmet will fit properly.

I have tried a couple apps because I had measurement problems while making helmets and I was never fully satisfied with result. This app works surprisingly well, had to spend 8 euro to export to STL but it is well worth it. Great video, thanks!

How bout android
The Ethan Makes 3D app uses the TrueDepth 3D camera sensor on modern iOS devices (those supporting Face ID), so it's not available for Android.
There are (many) other 3D scanning apps on Android, though, including Qlone. Try using "3D scanner" or "photogrammetry" search terms.
