if your afraid of a ling rush, perhaps popping out a fast baneling nest for a single baneling, 5 zerglings and a baneling will almost always beat 6 to 8 zerglings even with minimal micro. unfortunately zerg has no early game ''unit'' that is ''anti armor'' so without those mutalisks the only unit that can take on roaches early game is more roaches, or a massive number of zerglings. Against terran the ''harstem nydus'' is pretty good looking, but against zerg it isnt. still look forward to seeing you try this against a protoss. As far as roaches are concerned, you could also try to turtle with mass spines/mass queens for transfusions on the spines from the high ground, since spines are the only tool zerg has that is ''early game'' and ''anti armor'' by exploiting the cliffs vision for your defense wings of liberty style, using evolution chambers, your pool, and your fake roach warren/fast baneling nest as the wall. its important that the roaches are not in range of the spines, while placing the spines in range of the roaches, since they can use their impaler tentacles to attack over your own wall farther then roaches can. Burrowed banelings and burrowed zerglings can also help, by unburrowing them in the fight to give your spines even more time, since roaches do not do line damage to burrowed units the way hellions do. fascinating games and good tries harstem.

by chance that zerg stays at 2 bases where he puts like 20 spine crawlers because I have played against him and I win I think I have the replay but he made swarm host and stayed in 2 base until 15 minutes when i won
That's not even remotely the same thing and much worse. If you are not GM, you did for sure not get matched vs him.

Watch some GSL, mutas get played all the time. The idea that they are not viable is ridiculous.
