  • Are you looking for the Coolest new boat Tech? If the answer is YES then you should check out our Unboxing of the Revolve Carbon fiber roll-up boat hook! A boat hook in a box? This is the Elli-Yacht "Thing I've always wanted... all of the sudden" Award for 2022. The folks at PYIinc.com that made our FenderTex inflatable high impact fenders have done it again... It is a composite boat hook that is easy to unroll and is secure and sturdy enough to be confident when you need a boat hook. It is easy to unravel and and use and easy to stow away on your boat, dinghy or jet ski.
We start off comparing a standard telescoping boat hook that just is awkward on a small vessel like a dingy or jet ski. Since this is an unboxing of the Revolve Fiber Boat Hook we made it interesting by going in blind and showing you the first hand experience using this amazingly innovative boat hook.
The flat composite roll instantly snaps into a circular shape like a childhood favorite slap wrist bracelet! Once unrolled the hook end snap onto the end and locks solidly.
We really like the form and function so much so, we contacted PYI to purchase the Revolve Boat Hook!

Hey guys, thank you so much for this awesome review. It was a really nice way to start our day and I will make sure everyone in our facility gets to see it. We are indeed working hard on the first accessories and they will be available in the next couple of weeks from our friends at PYI. I love the storage method you worked out - that's clever. As to Dade's comment below, it is indeed sorcery that makes it do what it does !

We’re headed out for a month. Excited to see if it’s as cool IRL! 😝

I haven’t actually seen anyone use one, everyone is fascinated with opening and closing it.

I love the boat hook but wish it had a bag or other water friendly container instead of cardboard box.

They now come with a mesh bag to store it in.

Too funny, I was demoed the PYI boat hook a few days ago, never knew of it's existence before last week. There is a faster way to open and close the shaft. 1) When you take it out of the container hold the handle and flick it open, being mindful of people and space...lol... 2) To close it unfold the end of the shaft, curl it a bit, the again holding the handle. Place the curled end onto the deck and push down from the handle and it will retract itself in one too easy to believe motion. I've bought one for my Williams tender. PYI also make my inflatable fenders, hard plastic nor rubber has touched the sides of my hull in many years. Plus they have a transom bumper version, I don't use one but it's good to know. Goodness I sound like a commercial. Have a great day U2!

Alright, you would have made a MUCH better video than us 😂 We just left for a one month trip to Desolation Sound, I’m going to give your pointers a shot. Might need an additional video on this one. 😳
We have the FenderTex fenders also. I’m the same way, no plastic/rubber grinding on our hull. They are wonderful.
      Have a great week!

Were you able to play softball this season? I played for the first time in three years. It was all over the place. My team was awesome! we just won 4 games total.

Probably could buy a number of aluminum boat hooks for the same price ($120).

True but they don’t compact nicely and take a lot of space. I guess it depends on what your needs are.
