Don't single out Zionism. All forms of fascism, racism, theocracy, and colonialism are equally horrible.
As a former Israeli who was born and raised in an abandoned Palestinian home and served with the IDF, I was indoctrinated and eventually concluded that Israel is the outgrowth of a militarized settler colonial movement that seeks its legitimacy in biblical myth, Zionism. Methodically, any human aspect of the Palestinian people was destroyed to justify stealing their, the natives', land and then turning their resistance into the reason to be more effective and brutal in taking more land and justifying their oppression to themselves and the world. They have used methods including altering history, half-truths, and promoting the hatred of Arabs while playing the victim - "never again" - identity to justify their actions when, in fact, they are the colonizers, aggressors, and oppressors. Meaning, substitute the suffering of one with the suffering of others. I was lucky to have escaped the Zionist indoctrination I, and all Israelis are subjected to and made my life in the USA while trying to make up for the injustice I once was part of.

When seen in context - makes you wonder how "oct 7th didnt happen sooner"!
