SLEC - St. Luke's Medical Exam Experience
Medical Checklist:
1. X-RAY
2. Phlebotomy (blood drawing)
3. Physical test (height, weight, blood pressure etc.)
4. Urinalysis
5. Physical exam one on one with a Doctor
Questions:
Who’s your petitioner?
What is his full name?
When is his birthday?
What is your name?
When did you get married?

Ma'am ask ko lang about the Ds260 document..are you talking about the conformation letter...also can I have medical without interview appointment yet. Thank you.
For my case I waited untill I received the email from US embassy to make sure. Kasi the medical exam mag expire in 6 mos from the date of examination. Yes Po, Yong DS260 Po is the confirmation Ng application mo for NVC stage. Once you complete the application they will send you a confirmation with the barcode on the bottom.
Thank you for this video great help for us question anyway, is it better to have a personal exam? before the actual exam? because I'm thinking if I do have a health problems so that I can be aware? what do you think? and when is the time to do that?
If you know you're healthy and never had any problems before I would say just wait until your medical exam at St Luke's. But if you think you'll be comfortable if you do an exam before that then go for it. 👍 I did my medical exam when the US embassy emailed me my interview schedule because there's an expiration to your medical exam, I think it's 6 mos.
@valeriecreates- How were you able to pay earlier? Did you go to a place or is there a link to pay earlier? When were you able to pay earlier?
@valeriecreates- Which vaccines did you take at SLEC? Were there other ones that you already had before? What if you never had any taken before since birth because parents were against it originally?
I had 4. I know one of them was a tetanus shot. But I think they only have certain vaccines that the US requires immigrants to get. So if you haven't gotten other vaccines I don't think that would be a problem. Cause they didn't even look at my immunization card.

You have to show the confirmation Po for your interview I don't remember Po if kinuha nila yong copy ko or Hindi but I print out a lot of copies just in case. ❤️
Hello, you recommended paying the exam fee ahead of time. How can we pay in advance if online payment is mot accepted?
Yes, it would be easier to pay ahead. But I'm not sure if there are any changes since 2020 Yong processing ko. I would just check with st. Luke's how to pay ahead of time.

You can pick the schedule for your medical appointment you just have to go online to do so.

I think so, the problem Po is they're fully booked that day but we did some walk ins in other hotels and it was fine. But I would probably book the first hotel you want to stay at. Kami Kasi we tried to get the closest hotels first sa St Luke's then sa embassy

No, I didn't get a covid vaccine. I think it was not required and it might not have been available at that time.

I’m working with a visa agency. My fiancé’s interview is February 13, 2024. The agency has not scheduled the medical exam yet but will do it soon. Is it okay if medical exam on February 6, a week before the interview?
Also, are there usually enough available appointments for medical exam when scheduling one a few weeks before it?

I think that should be fine I didn't have my interview schedule when i did mine they just told me to do the medical then they will send me the interview schedule after that. About the availability back then I was able to set an appointment two days from when I booked it I think. I don't know if it's gonna be the same today. There's an expiration on the medical exam I think it's 6mos.
Ok thank you, also the copy of my birth certificate I sent to my fiancé does not have a raised seal on it. Is that okay for her interview?

I booked online. I picked the earliest I can get. Once you book it wait for confirmation then use that confirmation to pay it'll tell you where you can pay the fee. Congratulations! 😃

Me and my wife are in the final stages to turn in our cr1 visa petition. She would like to know are these female doctors doing the examinations? She not comfortable with any male doctors examining her private areas for religious reasons . Thanks and Godbless
You can probably ask and they might be able to make an exception for that. But in my case both doctors were females.

I don't think so. I did some research and it looks like the reason they do a medical exam is to make sure you don't have communicable diseases that could be passed on in public like (tuberculosis, corona virus, HepB, Chicken pox etc.) so I think you'll be fine.
Yung mga results po ng medical na ipapasa sa embassy need po ba e scan or okay lang picture sa phone?

Once you have the interview schedule then you can go ahead and schedule your medical appointment. For my case, I scheduled my medical appointment myself. 👍

what vaccine
I forgot exactly what vaccines I've gotten but I got 4 of em and if you have your vaccine card you can show that to them so they'll know which one you need to get. I showed my vaccine card with all the shots I got since birth.
