- Hey Friends! A bit of a weird one today: the ever illusive L5-15. This PD is split into 2 independently operating sections. L5-15 isn't very common in my world, so I figured I would shoot a video on the build. Please dont attempt any electrical projects if you aren't qualified.

Cool build! It's enjoyable to watch how efficiently you work. It's rare to see you with a project that you don't need to heat shrink anything :)
Ha! Despite the messy desk! I always joke that the difference between a hobbyist and an integrator is the amount of heat shrink used! Thanks for the kind words!
What I would love, but can’t find, is a product that replaces the standard duplex Edison (like you have on the back of your distro here) with a duplex power con, or duplex True1. Why doesn’t that product exist? I think there’s enough physical room for it to fit, but perhaps I’m wrong?? 4:04 Just for clarity and to overstate it, I’m thinking of a product that would fit into the cutouts you have on the back side of this distro and use the same screw holes to secure it in place.
Hmmm. Never thought about that Phil! I have an adapter plate that lets you use a D-Punch in the flanged family cut out. Decora would be way easier. The only bad thing about a duplex is that you could only secure it from the middle screw in a 2U box. Ideally you would want the top, bottom and middle screws to hold the adapter plate in place. I’ll sketch something up. I love adapters! www.lmcasesonline.com/5278-to-d-series-adapter-plate/
@@billylaguardia My inspiration for the idea is my cute little Whirlwind distro in an SKB (PLR-SKB02). I’d love to swap some of the Edisons for powercon and true1.
How can I place an order ?
