EASY CHICKEN CURRY WITH FLAT BREAD

- EASY CHICKEN CURRY
2 tablespoons salted butter
2 tablespoons cooking oil
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 large white onion, chopped
2 tablespoons curry powder
4 pieces bay leaves (laurel)
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 pcs cinnamon sticks (optional)
2 tablespoons fish sauce
1 kilo chicken breast fillet, cut into cubes
1/2 kilo potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes
1 can mushrooms
2 teaspoons white sugar
1 tablespoon vinegar
2 tablespoons salted butter (for mounting)
Garnish with fresh herbs of your choice
Flat bread:
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup water
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon instant dry yeast (you may also use active dry)
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt

Masarap yan chef pag spicy talaga.. Tapos garnish mo siya ng mint leaves.. With cream and melted cheese to counter act the spicyness of the curry.. Try niyo rin minsan curry paste..

I like to use lots of ginger in my curry, saute chicken in the spices, brown the potatoes separately, and top the curry until done. I will be adding the dash of "suka" here forward to prevent spoiling.
My stepmother told me that food cooked with vinegar do not spoil. She neglected to advise to add a dash to everything to avoid spoilage. Learned that from your kare-kare video.😊
