A Google search reveals that screen replacements on a 13 pro requires reprogramming and/or you need to transfer the screen IC Chip from the original screen, to the new screen, to avoid screen recognition errors(?)

Only if you buy a terrible replacement. Any decent 3rd party screen will be responsive to where you don't notice the difference. Even mid range like iTrucolor screens are almost identical to originals. I've been using them for 2 years and never had an issue. And they are very affordable!

@@__WJK__ It isn't really necessary, as long as the new screen you got is okay you're good to go.
To reprogram, you will need access to AST II or contact apple support

do you need to program the screen?
Yes and just like the other 1000's " screen replacement videos on YT" none will go through that process or even mention it. There's only a few reminding people that it needs to be programmed for True Tone and then the IC needs to be replaced if you want the none genuine screen message to disappear.
Do you not get the notification to do with the 'display being an unknown part' and if you do, how do you fix it?
Yes, you get the important display message on iPhone 11 and newer
To remove it, you have to transfer the IC to the new screen
What's the name of the liquid used to remove the components easily? Isopropanol?
isopropyl alcohol. It's available at any drug store such as Walgreens, Rite-Aid, etc.
