Visited the area and wow both New Orleans (outside French Q) and Metaire are shit holes. So much crime, poverty, dilapidated houses, broken car windows, and trash. The weather is awful too.

There are a lot of good private schools 😊
East Jefferson hospital is the best hospital in the state and also the tri-state area
They also have a Thai restaurant just across off PFChang Chinese restaurant by the lake side mall on Seventh if you are looking for thai cuisine
