That 656 has no business out there. It needs to be on a 6 row planter. 1456 is a beast. Gotta love the 407 engine. 1466 is nice also. Nice to see them Red tractors plowing deep. All the JD videos they're barely scratching white dirt much less this good black stuff.

Boy those were the days... used to love seeing an 8 bottom plow or big disk with the wings thrown down turning that beautiful soil over, versus today’s “environmentally friendly” equipment touching the tops of the soil in road gear. Seeing the sea of red out in the field reminds me of the equipment we enjoyed.... I think we had a couple H’s to run augers at the grain bins, an M & a C to run a mower, maybe roll corn, but ran a couple 806’s, had a 1206 dad tractor pulled in the summer, pulled a disk through the field with it, like nothing was on the back. Had a 1456 as well.... Dad was a champion farmer, turning in some great crops, farmed a little over 3,000 acres in the 70’s in the Midwest, irrigated across two counties with hose drag and center pivots, and those were the best of times. Something very genuine and wholesome around that family lifestyle. Harvesting all night long on Thanksgiving night to get that crop in before a snow blizzard hit.....Sure loved our Farmal & International Harvesters. Those were the days. Watching these big reds from the 70’s getting it done out in the fields.... nothing better. Sitting up in the cab of a 1456 disking at 12 years old by myself, parents today would lose their minds over. Lol. Blessed childhood. Thanks for this epic channel.

Thanks for the video!
