JK BMS - Low Voltage Shutdown and Charging Recovery Test

LiFePO4 battery low voltage shutdown could be dreadful event for some proprietary battery systems. The JK BMS based battery is wonderful in that all its control parameters may be configured to optimize the electrical and energy storage system for performance as well as efficiency. In this test, the shutdown recovery procedure is simply turning on a shore power charger (or starting up the RV engine that equipped with an under-hood generator)

Hi Park, nobody seems to be able to answer this question. Can you run 2 JK bms in parallel? In other words, if i have 8 life's and they are setup for 4s, with 2 in parallel for 12 volts, will the JK Bms do this? Thank you.

You can't connect two JK BMS's in parallel. Connecting two JK based batteries in parallel is fine provided that they are individually fused at 300A before the connection.

Thank you Park, but I don't understand. How are people using these on their home solar, which has dozens of batteries, if there is no way to connect more than 1 bms. Obviously, you can't power a home with 4 cells in series and no cells in parallel. Thank you.

You can paralel lifepo4 banks, for example, 4s with JK BMS paralel with 4s with another JK BMS etc... You cant paralel 2 BMS in one 4s bank
