How can you not respect a person, who has been to the top of the sport and loses and then is determined for that not to happen again, so he becomes a student of other areas of his game to improve his weaknesses. i mean the moment that you captured on your channel, right after his loss, asking and calling for Greg Jones, moments after his loss still bruised to analyse what happened, explains no time's mindset. Your channel is probably my favorite on CZcams.
Volkan is only 28, he has improved a lot after his fights, gustafsson vs volkan would be a good match
Some commentators are saying Volkan can't be a champion. This channel is called Anatomy of a Fighter. Not Anatomy of a Champion. Volkan is doing it. Will Harris Productions is doing it. They are busting their assess and getting better each day. So inspiring to see any fighter or human stay humble and improve in the face of hardship. Wtf are these minority speng commentators doing? Imagine if guy like Volkan had access to elite training camps,coaches,sparring partners since the very beginning.I think he would be DC,Gustafsson or maybe even Jones level right now.He got to the title shot purely on his talent,if you add skills and experience he can be much much better fighter.Still young i think when DC retires he will be one of the candidates for title.

I remember the video of Volkan right after his loss to DC, he was in his changing room still in the stadium watching, learning, n drilling right after his loss to see where he failed but where he can improve. It was a great scene and a sign of a champ. Peace 🤝

trainers like cyborg are awesome, i wish there were more bjj/mma trainers with the same mentality, the mma scene in germany still is in a very early stage and its hard finding decent mma gyms or actually any mma gym at all..
