honestly part of me wants to headcanon that sherlock is pretending to forget it so that he can have some kind of little joke/thing? with greg.. idk i just like to think it’s sherlock’s attempt at an inside joke because his memory is too good to forget that hehe
I think Sherlock does it to annoy Greg and Greg just rolls with it now. Also whenever Sherlock actually uses the correct name, then Greg may not notice right away, or knows something is wrong. Usually the second one.
