The Toyota Yaris is a great car as long as it runs, drives and A/C works worth buying too 👍
Damn it, Randy, if that Corolla ran, I'd drive it in a heart beat.
Those 10th gens are good cars.
Probably the worst corollas that came out, they had an oil consumption issue.
Damn Randy, you're pumping out content like a madman.
dolla making
me like!
As a owner of 2007 1.3l diesel and manual fiat 500, that looks pretty similar exterior and interior wise to this much newer fiat, from what i know, that Tomtom unit was the factory option for gps.
That 500 looks fairly identical to mine aside the spoiler, white body work (mine is body colored, with exception of black roof and panoramic window), mine has a manual shifter and an analog instrument cluster.
A stickshift, diesel Fiat. Not gonna lie, kinda jealous of that.
@@andrewhaywood1262 It was the most powerful engine available for the first production year with 6 hp and 43Nm / 30 lb-ft more torque over the gasoline engine :)
It still feels funny refueling my little red car and see a truck pull up to the diesel self service gas station that mostly only trucks use, and then be confronted by a woman refueling something that looks like it can't have a diesel engine :D
Good morning Randy. The 2013 Toyota Matrix is a good looking car. The 2014 Fiat 500 is a good looking car.
A lot of the cars might be there like yours. People might want to just sell them. Your vehicles aren't totaled when you sell them at Copart, but they are sometimes sitting out in the yard like your two Ford trucks were. Not all cars have to be totaled to be at Copart. Thank you for the video this evening.
Too many choices in different way of driving !Which will you choose ? Waste of time !
Either the Hondas air bag got hit , the airbag was stolen , it was in a pervious wreck , somebody did some work and didn’t put it back , or it was removed because of the Takaita recall
The thing about the Fiat is that is was made to comply with california regulations for EVs and thus was only sold in CA, Oregon and Washington. How the hell it got all the way out there is beyond me, i’m guessing there was a problem with it and since it wasn’t sold there no dealer would touch it.
I've seen a few make their way to Copart yards in Texas mostly for issues like this.
Either people moved and it went with them, or dealers bought them, found out they needed a new battery and sent it straight back to auction, but locally this time.
They are spreading everywere, We got lots of them 2014-5s imported to europe. Great city cars and much cheaper then the new european version :D
Had a 500e for a while. Fun car but without a DC charge port a nightmare occasionally. It's a Bosch drivetrain NOT fiat and was dependable but light stayed on all year. Same rear as abarth (fiat) but common bearings going out.
Going to guess the Fiat sat for long periods of time without getting charged much at all and some of the cells went bad, with the occasional charge lithium cells can last a lot longer than most would think. Anyway there is already a video where someone uninstalled and partially disassembled that battery so it can be serviced provided one had the know how plus the right tools but it won't be a fun project. By the way if anyone is wondering it uses pouch cells and they are liquid cooled.
Hi Randy!! Thanks for the late night upload 😊
Randy I had a matrix , when got rid of it to my son it had 167000 , he drove it till it went shot, it had 345000
Gotta Love The Matrix Dependable
Another great video. Be safe and careful.😊👍🙏
I like the Toyota matrix 😎😎👍👍
Please buy the accord 😭 I love when you bring Honda content to the Chanel. How fun would it be to watch you bring back that beautiful accord
Stay away from this 500e. It had a limited power mode before - just look at the Copart auction. This may indicate a main battery fault, and you just can't buy a new one.
But, in general, you are right - this is a 2014 full electric with low mileage and it is a very nice car ... if it works.
The battery can be fixed but not very many people out there have the experience plus the tools needed. More than likely has some dead cells.
@@MrKillswitch88 sure but you have to have a propper tools to do it.
@@ryb4isd I've seen people reuse the cells from EV packs for solar setups never mind rebuild old packs so it is not like servicing something too ridiculous. The only true nightmare would be a late model Tesla pack as those are potted.
Fiat 500e oh pleasw! Keep it up randy back at Copart!
Toyota sounds great, please bring it to the channel
Outside and interior looks good.
Good morning Randy from @Auto Action Rebuild 🙏😇
Randy, Nick from Maple Motors is selling an 86 Grand National that is tuned! Smokes the tires part throttle. Has a bigger inner cooler, vacuum brakes instead of hydro-boost, looks like a bigger turbo. It's a 23 minute video. Get that tune for your car.
Flip the clock up side down in the matrix 3:00 I had the 2009 Pontiac vibe (same car as the matrix), the one I had was a 2.4l. They had 2 engine options, 1.8/2.4. Also, you could get AWD as well.
Warranty on Fiat is 8 years/100k miles.
I work at an auto shop we had one of those fiat’s drove it in for tire swap I swear u can touch the car ur backing towards if ur trunk was open
That Benz has rod bearing knock. That’s why it’s totaled more than likely the bumper ding broken a sensor for the abs system and backup assist you can even see the outside of a sensor cracked. It’s not worth saving for more than parts maybe the transmission is good enough to sell to make a profit alone. That tailgate can go for big too as well as each door.
I really like this Toyota. It's a fine car
On the Benz it could be the two-mass-flywheel what makes the noise. Kinda expensive to fix especially when the broken flywheel kills the transmission.
If the Fiat 500e has a good battery, runs, drives, A/C works the would be worth buying.👍
The battery itself is going to cost more than the car itself. 😊
Hey Randy. I’m 26
First car when I was 22 was a Matrix. Cool car that I wish I hadn’t sold for cheap at the time 😢
And I had the XR which was surprisingly zippy, man.
Yes sir SPORT mode all the time on BMW!!!
How many times you gonna post a reply!??? 15-20 times in the comments??? Make 1 big post and be done with it.... CLOWN😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Matrix is great car. Particularly with a manual transmission. I have a 2015 manual Scion XB that I’ll keep forever. Is it the 2.4? I’d go for either motor. Why is it in auction? 509e is fun good EV.
It’s interesting for sure
Nice car's
I love that C5 Corvette if you can get it cheap it is not much work to fix it. I have a 01 c5 black convertible! The c5 convertibles look really cool. Better than all the others I'm my opinion. I also have a couple more corvettes. I always get a lot of compliments when I take the c5 out. You can buy a used rear fender and the left rear a arms. Put it together and off you go. I bought a 96 c4 and both rear fenders were busted up from a rear impact. The bumper was fixable and the seller gave me 2 rear quarters in excellent condition. They were a lot harder to change, they are glued on with a c4, and the c5 they are bolted on and easy to replace. If you can get that for a decent price it is worth every penny. BTW all my Corvettes are auto they are faster and much nicer to drive than a stick especially in Los Angeles with all the traffic,
The red fiat 500e 25,000 miles. 50 miles at a time. Buy it, expect a degraded battery. Don’t know what it costs to fix it. Go for it. It will be fun for a minute.
you're always rolling the dice with a Fiat
Hey randy I looked online it says the matrix has a 1.8 liter 4 cylinder and also has a 2.4 liter. The base one you were sitting in has the 1.8 liter with 132 horsepower and 128 pounds of torque. It says the 2.4 liter one has 158 horsepower. Matrix are nice car my cousin has a 2007 Matrix XR in Grey color and he has 189,482 miles on it and still drives it here and there.
Yaris probably needs a charge on the A/C and gets great gas mileage!!!
I vote for the Fiat if you can afford having to replace batteries. Is there a way to put load tests on the cells? Also the 500E running range is not so good, so city use only is advised. But it's a Fiat and real cute!
Otherwise, the Matrix is my bid. Will run and run. Clean it up, recharge the A/C, will sell quickly.
Matrix are incredible cars... They last forever...
Check out the 13-20 Ford fusions
Check the transmission on the Matrix
The 500e is a gamble... I've read the batteries are pretty robust and have active cooling (unlike the early Leaf that was air cooled) that helps them last, BUT if it's bad, looking at $7500 for a refurb (new are unavailable, but when they were, supposedly they were $32k MSRP or $15k wholesale... Did just the battery). Of course, you can buy individual cells and buy the equipment to refurbish and test them yourself for less, but it's very time consuming.
I hear the you have to dye your hair blue to have the best driving experience in a Fiat.
The markings on the Mercedes bumper is a trick to hide the real problem.
Pass on the Honda has an issue with pass side door.
You need to buy it and bring it to the channel
Nice BMW, solid cars.
Did i miss the video of the '73 mustang you said you purchased?
wonder if the bullet hit the airbag on the Honda?
Hey Randy
yes I would like to have it
IT'S A MERCEDES!!! NEEDS MORE IN PARTS THEN ITS WORTH ALOT... WHY SO MANY PEOPLE GIVE UP ON THEM
If you pull it 3 times you're just playing with it
Seatbelt label will have the date on it 👍🏻
Think nine year old Fiat 500 Ev kool gas saver & BMW 3 Series AWD are good car's all season long
I'm a Mercedes fan and that's to bad about the white one it was once a nice one
I'd buy the Toyota
The bumper got bumped!!!
The tom Tom has a drum intro guessing a Tom Tom drum
Fiat 500e needs to be charged up to 100% and be good to go. 😊👍
From my experience with the diesel one, it probably needs some electrical work, some conversation (in my case with pedals) with the computer and unironically being sweet talked to with promises of treating it better, for it to have a good mood and work.
It's one of the only two cars in my extended family that need to be sweet talked to, the other being my Mom's last Peugeot from 2011 that she recently sold.
I stay away from Fiat 500's they show up at my local auction with bad engines at 50k miles 🙃
500e is 100% electric...
@@mikaeljonsson4686 I know
My first production year diesel 500 with 120k+ miles (It was clocked so i don't know the actual mileage) has been headache free outside of a dying starter, a couple of loose hoses and a door handle that broke in winter.
Technically trying to use the boot during winter is kind of a headache as the boot refuses to open some times due to some kind of electrical issue, it works normally outside of winter season.
These US fiats did suck, true shame considering Fiat is a legendary car brand in Europe.
@@leonm6969 I had no idea that the production quality might had been so different in Poland and Mexico, but the european fiat's do have a kind of a moody soul to them like the Peugeot's do. The boot opens depending on season and what mood it has, the engine starts flawlessly usually but there can be days where it takes a a couple of words and a few tries to start.
The instrument cluster can sometimes identify as a ferrari with 22l/100km predictions, the oil change light can come on randomly after a thousand kilometers since the last oil change and the computer being told that it's changed.
Gangstas be shooting up a Honda 😂
Toyota matrix is a good one. My friend had a 4wd one. Fiat I’d pass. Honda kinda scares me. Bmw nice winter car.
Hay buddy
Why is that 2020 Elantra there?
NVM I saw the front end LOL
The Fiat 500e model ran from 2013 through 2019. So 2014 is correct.
I would buy the thr Toyota and use it as a daily when I'm not using the truck
That BMW all wheel drive will sell. I wouldn't put any DPR money either.
The BMW was cool
The Honda Accord will make someone a good daily 😎😎👍👍
No. You should get a Fiat Abarth.... Those are the race cars. There are a ton of upgrades available for those and they seriously move. So most versions of Fiat models have a Abarth version. Those are the ones to get.
why dont you pull up cars on your phone to see why they are for sale ???
I’ll take the Toyota Yaris
Worth about 6k tops.
The matrix.. with the tried and true 1.8 liter is the winner in this episode. I like the fact that Fiat tries to be different.but ,the reliability is just horrendous
Does the Mercedes need some Molly?
Nah. Unless you can hoard all the wheels an body parts, windows, ect.
Get the BMW, and get them to throw in the 500E for what they want for the BMW.
Winter Car
&
Winter project
🏁🍻
Buy the Fiat it is you and economy too.
What a death trap
Maybe someone donated it
take that car for your son, he need a car for first time to drive.
The Matrix there is fine besides being an automatic 🤢
BMW has lots of hail damage if you could get it for the right price worth buying but your not.👍
No 😅
I'd say no on the Fiat, but my opinion comes from what I've read online...they are pretty unreliable
No
Electric crap should be forbidden. In 15-20 years we will have big problems with the old batteries they will not be recycled.
I’ll take the Toyota if nobody else wants it.
Buy the Corvette send it to the dealership and have them put suspension back together and put the fiberglass back together and will run again 😊👍
Hell no randy
Buy the fiat lol
You want to know why that fiat is at the junk yard? Because it's a piece of junk.
Randy, I know you're a sucker for punishment, but the Fiat (fix it again tomorrow) is a bad idea as a petrol-engined car. As an EV it's guaranteed to be as reliable as an English Summer!
In Australia and a few other places it is "Fix it again Tony".
Likely, better.. actually. These are all Bosch motor. Great little EVs.
Like 👍
what a shame, to remember the fiat's back in the 70;s and seeing now what they look like. typical ugly thing looked like it been carved from a blob of clay .lol not for me! maybe in the 70 and 80's.
No don't buy that crap it would be a waste of money.
No way!! Stay away from that fiat!!!!👎👎👎👎👎👎
No because it's an EV and all EV's a crxp and a temporary agenda.
Italian Cars are not known for quality electrics either.
