sorry about that ✅
Ruy Lopez is on the board ✅
so this is all very standard ✅
you guys have seen this many times ✅
it's a rare idea but it's been played a few times ✅
and it is now only as of move 16 that we have a completely new game ✅
this is a really tricky move ✅
the thing is: what can you play here? ✅
white will be very happy with his setup here ✅
crazy stuff ✅
captures captures ✅
and then black's position is falling apart here ✅
adding another defender ✅
chasing the queen away ✅
so feel free to pause the video here and find the winning move while I give you a couple of seconds ✅
for those of you who were able to do it, congratulations on not playing g captures on f3 ✅
you are, again, a true master of the endgame ✅
can anyone please tell me why anish is not playing ????
@@anmol.1338 he has a hernia
"So yeah"
All the above is just chess music

Firouzja holds so much talent at this young age. His tricks amaze both me and his opponents. And this is what I like about him the most !
How old is he

@@Martinsmz damn
He's quite like Fischer i think.
@@Martinsmz can anyone please tell me why anish is not playing ????
As somebody else said, this boy is on 7 win streak right now. 4 from Norway Chess and 3 here. Considering the caliber of opponents, thats just crazy.
like without draws in between?
@@rachebrother5349 yeah. Seven wins in a row
@@YasSrb wow
Helps one to appreciate the significance of Fischer’s 20 in a row against the best in the world.
And he defeated two World Chess Challengers in just that streak
Firouzja is a mix of tactical and aggressive style like alpha zero, and also a positional squeezer and end game technical accuracy like Magnus. Alireza is heir apparent to the world champion title.
Doubt it
Sarin is more likely to challenge.
@@carsenarsen8634 Could you tell why you think so?
Doubt it me cause Magnus has historically owned him
I can't wait for Firouzja vs Sarin 10-20 years down the line!
That’s 7 classical wins in a row in high level chess!
You are right, amazing!!

Hey, could you update Firouzja’s picture when you get the chance? In my opinion, he’s changed quite a bit.
Had changed a lot lol

He actually looks kind of french now which is weird

@@anmol.1338 diarrè?
Everyone talking about how Alireza and Firouja are gonna challenge Magnus next time, meanwhile I’m over here rooting for Nepo like “guys… please… he still has a 10% chance, right?”
‘Alireza and Firouja’…. Huh?
10%? Is that all the chance you give Nepo? There're are several possibilities for how the match could go? Nepo could win wildly.
@@theoneonly8472 it's a creature with two symbiotic brothers living in the same body. Alireza plays over the board and Firouzja runs Stockfish in the background ... you didnt know that?
I think Nepo has around 40% but that's just me
The oddsmakers say it's 60-40 for Magnus, but honestly, I think Magnus is going to win this easily. Nothing against Nepo, I just don't think his style matches up well with what we know Magnus can do in these matches.
Firouza is the next big thing. Many rounds to go and he can possibly climb up to world#3. At this pace of growth, he can become world champion.
To become world he need to beat carlsen which I don't think coming in next 4-5 years. He might be no-2 at the moment (strengthwise) but there is a huge gap between 1 and 2.
@@cutebhargavi8043 I see Firouza overtake magnus in rating in around 3 years, given magnus is in decline too. Firouza is almost as talented, on top of that he's a new generation with strong engine preparation. I say in about 4 years he can beat Magnus. If Firouza makes it to the next World Championship, Magnus will have a headache dealing with him although Magnus would be better.
@@anuraglamichhane1733 So the advantage of firouzja is Magnus getting old?
@@luisalonso959 It's one of the advantages for sure. Say if Magnus and Alireza born on the same year, I'd guess magnus would still prevail.
Alireza is the future, the Crown Prince of chess. His style of play is so entertaining, reminds me of Bobby Fischer
He's more aggressive than Fischer.
Three games in a row...that's a feast 🔥
7
Actually 7 games in row
can anyone please tell me why anish is not playing ????
Firouzja is the rightful heir to Magnus’ crown
can anyone please tell me why anish is not playing ????
@@anmol.1338 In a 2-hour long interview on CZcams, Anish said that he didn't accept the invitation to play in Grand Swiss because he felt that there is too much luck involved and that you can not guarantee to win a ticket to the candidates. What he meant was you don't know who you'll be playing. In a swiss tournament, your opponent is determined by the result of every other game. That's why he is not playing.

-Voltaire
How did a French philosopher from thr 17th century predict modern day pop music?
LOL
Popular music in the 1700s (Voltaire's time) and in many other eras for that matter was frequently mindless and/or lewd.
When Firouzja is playing well he is incredible, amazing tactician but also beast in positional chess
12:52 A king unable to defend his queen, very sad.
😂
Agadmator in the future: that was one that was played with check but in this one it is a checkmate and a new game
Firu is the best 2700+ player in terms of crushing below 2700 players. He always choice complex positions that keep the tension and crack them under pressure.
wasn't rapport (in?)famous for increasing his rating by beating up on below 2700s? lol
Yes AF is good at defeating both above and below 2700
Look how he defeated nepo, Sergey and rep port at Norway. .AF takes great risk to create winning chances...
@@peep2268 It's not insult,i talk about his style. Also Rapport is great player and Hikaru just a bi@#$5.

If Alireza can get to 2800 in 2022, he will most likely the next world champion.
He might reach there by the end of this tourney xD. He gained 10 points from 3 games and is 2780.1 now.
@@jeweljoseph3671 i doubt it. Consistently win is almost impossible this day. And once you reach top 5, draw can give you hard time to join 2800

12:00 -- My first hunch was e6, to brutally drive home the point to Black the fact that you have a second pawn that can queen if he takes time to collect the bishop. Tossed it into the engine, and found it's the top move, even better than Nc6.
It is not better than Nc6, still not a losing move.
Cheers legend
Not that long ago Hikaru said that Firouja and Rapport didn't deserve a place in the top 10, I wonder what he might be feeling rightnow.

Very entertaining game. Lots of moves to enjoy.
Fun fact: Alireza learned chess by watching agadmator videos
Did he actually? I remember him saying he used to watch Chessbrah a lot.
@@MonkeyDIvan yes, he once joined a stream with Levy (GothamChess) and Anna Rudolf, and in the conversaion mentioned having learned from agadmator's channel (of course not the rules). He is of a generation that grew up with CZcamsrs and streamers around

Agadmator should consider updating Firouzja picture, he's been using that for 2 years now, boy's a man now!
Day 2 of saying you're the man. Thanks for providing us with these games and your engine data with interesting concepts. Always the highlight of my morning.
The Firouzja - Predke ending is an example of why I so much liked the concepts of the Hungarian; Jeno Ban's book "The tactics of endgames." a hard read but well worth the effort!
"Very standard ruy lopezian stuff" 😂😂
Very good game Alireza 🙂👏🏾
I hope he makes it to the next cycle of the candidates 👍🏾
I learn everyday from these analyses. Even some slight mistakes that agadmator makes, are helping, because they make me pay extra attention of what is going on in the position. For instance, at 5:08 it's one of the defenders of the pawn, and agadmator says something differently, which makes me play back and then understand better what is going on there.
1:05, Lol this is what us noobs play!😆
I want to see Alireza vs Nihal in the FIDE Grand Swiss
It will happen if they both win this round
Would be a great game
The day will come when instead of a Voltaire quote, we'll find "Captures, captures - Agadmator"
The link to the previous match is NOT in the description!!!
That's the kind of quote I could imagine getting a tattoo of.
Tattoos are old hat, their days are numbered. The writing's on the wall.
Thanks the complement, I'm the master of the end game
7:53 you can just push the pawn
Why do i feel it will be Magnus vs Alireza next championship
What if it's Nepo Vs Alireza?

I think It would be really interesting to see Andrey Esipenko vs Alireza Firouzja I got to say I think that Esipenko is a really impressive player, I wonder if he would ever reach 2800
The Road to Candidates is paved with good intentions.
Usually it is paved with good moves!
At 3:34, White's King Bishop has made 6 moves, only to return to its original square.
I went shopping, visited six different shops, came back home and had lots of goodies to show for it.
if there isn't a "ahh sorry bout that" i dont even continue the video LOL
While the other top players above him are all stagnating he keeps adding to his game. My prediction is top 3 in the next 12 months.
He might be top 3 this tournament if he keeps winning lol

What about dubov's game ?
