Hey Agad, been following you from thw beggining. This my first comment ever, just wanted to say you are a true inspiration, both in chess and life. Keep up friend, as i really consider you one, after all these years.
Shut up don't bamboozle him
Don't bother with any other chess channels. Agadmator is the greatest.
It is Kvaløy in norwegian, the pressure should be on the A(long a KVAALOY) and not on the OY (ØY) and it means Whale Island 😊
Agadmator made it sound Russian, lols.
His pronunciation of Terje Svendsen @ 1:51 was impressive, though.
@@Vingul I thought his name was Tarjei based on how he said it.
Hammer got hammered!🔨
Impressive and good horsing around too!
Hey agadmator, can u please show the "Immortal" blitz game of Wesley So vs Garry Kasparov 2016, I've asked this so many times 😅 #suggestion
Correct hashtag is #suggestion I believe
@@vedicapproach8105 oh I didn't know!Thank you
@@schess75 how have you asked so many times and don't know the hashtag that agad says in EVERY VIDEO
@@slidenaway settle down there, Chris.
Love from Australia ❤
Mr. Agadmator, i want to say that you are doing a great job! Your videos are always marvellous and intersting! Thank you for your job!! Keep it up
Magnus is an inspiration for everyone at Norway, like literally everyone loves him. Thanks for this interesting game indeed, also would like you to recap the game of Hans vs Magnus blitz in TT.
#suggestion
Random question - what's that goofy bird on Tal's shoulder?
That's a Fat Chocobo 😅..... Agad is clearly a Final Fantasy fan 😊
Unusual to see no attack on the queen side of the board. Nice game!
Liking the pronunciation of 'miniature' (like Gil Grissom in CSI): 'min-ee-ature'. Us Brits say 'minahchuh'
White was in fact lost after Bxe6.
Without a plan after exchage of dark bishops, white should keep the other bishop and play "forcefully" on queen side.Black position is closed before exchange on e6 and bit passive.
an interesting moment in 3:37
I thought black could play b5 takes takes knight moves and Bxf2 to win the rook on a1, but there's Na5 which also aims to jump to c6
so quite strong I guess
“Here, Tor Fredrick Kaasen[, in the style of old masters,] played pawn to b4 [- which is surprisingly not the top move recommended by the engine, as it should]; and it is in this position that we have a completely new game.”
7:10 Qh2, king f1, Q f2.
Hey Agadmator, can you show some games of Brazilian players like Luis Paulo Supi, or Fier? Hugs from Brazil!
unrelated to the game, but I just thought;
Imagine if you tweaked a single rule of chess (but not anything like changing a piece's movement, or adding pieces), what would it be?
it doesn't have to be because you dislike _some rule_ but just to "mix it up" without going full 960 or some exotic variation - that's to say, not to radically change the theory or learning requirements for entry, but just to use existing rules in a way that brings new permutations.
I say this as I was thinking to myself some subtle changes;
idea 1. Passed pawns _must_ be promoted to a previously lost piece. (and if you haven't lost a piece, then you don't get to promote) - i like this as it's a bit like each passed pawn always earns you a piece that you've lost back, it wouldn't change the opening and main playing theory much - other than perhaps a bit more deliberation about early trades, but would lead to weirder endgames.
idea 2. the A and H files wrap around the sides, but only for pawns... (so a pawn on H4 could take a pawn on A5 or vice versa) - this idea maybe breaks my earlier condition of not changing movement rules, but this is more changing the shape of the board into a cylinder, and is intentionally limited, but would make for some odd rooks pawn fights :)
my local library is miles away, so I'll have to go to a bar to think of more... [ i agree you might have thought i'd been drinking already after what I've just written, but no :) ]
Nice ideas. May be you should try playing a game or two with a friend just to see if its fun.
No castling or once per game players can play two moves in a row - that would really mess up a lot of defensive ideas.
@@mariuszpudzianowski8400 You are really enthusiastic. I like that. Have fun
It was a running gag but I like the idea of en passant is forced
#suggestion Would you consider making a video on the game Keres - Krogius from the USSR championship in 1959? It's an amazing attacking game in the Taimanov Sicilian featuring multiple piece sacrifices.
Mr. Cashman being generous with his shekels 😅😅
6:12 - after the white queen captures the rook, it could capture the knight on g4
So, you expect white to play with Rook against Queen?
@@chandrashekar4529 Oh, you're right, checkmate is much better.
The white king is getting murdered when does white get time to take the knight.
Aksel’s horses were champing at the bit
For the pause the video moment, it looks like Qh3 might be a good move for a quick mate in 2. I feel like I’m missing something maybe. What am I missing?
Dos!
Hi y'all!
Perfect pronounciation is tough, but if you read them like Kvaley and Kawsen in english youre not too far off
Wow! That’s all I’m going to say.
Hey, the next Magnus Carlsen!!! What's he, like number 3902 of the next best ever?
How about that Turkish guy beating magnus?
Nice attacking game by Aksel using the knights and Rooks to create so many problems on his opponents king side at 15 yrs of age and has accomplished a lot playing Chess he’s well on his way to bigger better things Thanks for the Game Agadmator Enjoy your Day 😊♟️
1:49 petition to have no social/historical commentary between the moves 😅😅
Petition rejected!
Hey @agadmator can you add evaluation bars for the games you show ?
It’s fun to see when the position is winning but the player missed it
I think agad already explained in his previous videos that he is not going to add evaluation bars (I forgot why).
Is Norwegian champion for young player? Why doesn’t magus play?
World champion Magnus Carlsen?
😂 technically not true anymore Technically 🫣
Magnus was WC in 2015 when he played the game in question.
Tres
Omg legendary hammer not n top 5🤔
