Besides FF7 Rebirth, this has been my most anticipated title of 2024. It's just so refreshing to see a new IP where the devs are clearly passionate and confident in their work, and the methodical approach to combat is right up my alley as well.

I wasn't sure about this game at the start (thought of it as a worst version of nier but with a lot of fanservice), but after trying the demo and the combat system I preordered de Deluxe Edition, the game feels sooo good and Im not talking about graphics, music or art design which are really good too!

40% of the music is from the studio that did Nier and 60% inhouse. Kim said there will be about 100 tracks and most will have some kind of chorus or vocals. Lot of focus on music so it will be dope.
I was looking forward to the game but wasn't sure if it would be a day 1 because I wanted to see what combat would be like. Demo completely sold me... was so fun and satisfying, especially the parry system.

I think you are the first one to notice that her heels look like hoofs. I think it makes her legs look a bit like the one of a Satyr. It's certainly a more unique look than the standard high heels you see in a lot of games.
@@HynotamaThere’s a new outfit in the boss challenge that has heels. I’m not a fan of the hoofs either but I think it looks alright for the suit. I sometimes find Eve running around in heels weird although I prefer it, hoofs would look/feel more comfortable (but I get it’s a game, I main the Skin suit anyways for…obvious reasons).
To me, her heels seem clearly inspired by KOS-MOS' later designs in Xenosaga and Xenoblade.
The necktie and hoof heels are the only thing i dislike about her default outfit.

I’m really glad you ended up enjoying it! Seeing all this stupid negativity is so draining but I ignore it, let people seethe. The game looks pretty, combat I’m still tryna get around but the parrying is fun, and I love how EVE looks. The boss challenge mode is dope🎉

I'm a big Nikke enjoyer, been playing the gacha for 6 months without missing a daily. Obviously I became a big Shift Up fan because of the way they handle the gacha, so I naturally preordered Stellar Blade. I'm glad that you enjoyed Stellar Blade despite its "controversies." People don't seem to realize that Shift Up makes actually fun games
I tried Nikke but i didn't like it. No offence to the girls but the gameplay seemed boring to me. But Stellar Blade seems to be right there up my alley.

In the last boss fight against "Stalker" you played excellent. Impressive use of various special abilties and combos. And very little deaths. It sum, way better than any other player I saw so far.
Looking forward to this game. The music and combat really sold me. Hopefully the story ends up being good!

I love the music in this game.
My take on the “controversy”. The women here are not unrealistic, just not average. Just one step in a gym and you’ll see tons of women in skin tight shorts with a booty as fine as Eve’s.
Plus, the director said roughly “I want to make a character that looks ideal”. AKA a character that is hot af and there is nothing wrong with that.
His other game… Nikke has less shame 😂
people found a way to glitch into the area after abaddon. it's interesting that the devs have left 30-45min of exploration in the demo. it's almost as if they expected people to glitch through to the next area.

My added 2 cents alot of people say this game's combat is similar to Sekiro when it's not they're welcome to think it tho.
Sure this game requires you to parry it's useful,etc but it doesn't FORCE it tho you can beat enemies and bosses without relying too much on parrying it just takes more effort.
As someone who's a huge Nier (Nier Replicant moreso than Automata for reasons) and Souls Game enjoyer I'm digging and all behind this weird but welcome mash up between the 2.
Not sure if it's 100% accurate but fun fact they modeled Tachy's face after the director of the game's wife if so that's cute I love when couples do stuff like that especially if they work for the same studio.
Also they based Eve's body/figure after real life Korean model,Shin Jae-Eun which was cool and it I say if you haven't seen her yet do she's sexy and hot like holy crap.
Anyways looking forward to the release not sure if I'll play it day one but definitely gonna play it when it's out and can't wait to see your playthrough of the full game I'm sure lol

Great to see something kinda come out of left field in gaming and hit the ground running. I didnt see a lot of marketing aside from its reveals but, still tried to follow it here and there.
Great start for Stellar Blade! Similar to how Palworld and Helldivers II came around and floored everyone, even with some controversies of their own. But im all for this game cant wait.
Most of the marketing is more focused on Eve's ass than the (apparently pretty good) gameplay. You haven't missed much.

@TimothyGod I know it sounds crazy, but I am serious. I always start from the beginning area, then I clean out the whole map and refresh at the parking lot and fast travel to the beginning again.
As long as you don't trigger the boss fight at the top of the parking area, you can farm skill points, materials and gold as much as you want.
I already unlocked all available skills and am still farming for skill points for the locked abilities, which aren't accessible yet.
Also I'm curious if the demo has a cap for the points you can farm.
When the games comes.out, I will beat the boss and use this save for the main game, just so I am not restricted when it comes to usable abilities.
I have never done something like that before and I myself would think that this is crazy, but it is so much fun.
6:09 our cats do that too, some do that too, they don't meow at all especially to my dad's work station and his PC. Dad's ok with it mostly, the last cats and dogs my dad rescued play around his feet while he works mostly. Lol.

Because, I think she's some type of robot/AI human. So, she doesn't have any knowledge of having a book in her memory system and what it looks like. Wow, Sarah took to this demo like a fish to water. You picked up the parry timing quick.
By the way, you can unequip her outfit and run around with her skin suit. It increases the difficulty but also lets you run around in a let's call it a stylish way. All for research purposes, of course
People keep complaining about how they just made Eve to be this hot character for guys to love, but they don't either don't know that it's based on a South Korean model or they ignore that fact. She did all of the motion capture for this

@@SarahKey I've actually come across quite a few people in CZcams comments that have been either complaining about what I initially mentioned, how Eve really didn't look like the model she was based on saying. Though one of the weirdest complaints about Eve was that she's boring. It's just crazy that the game is getting this much flak, especially when those people don't even take the time to play the demo.

I dont think he knows if the story is any good. Hopefully they have a good writer but i have a feeling this will be a "gameplay > story" type of game.

The word “actually” insinuates a notion of surprised, and there is nothing surprising about the demo being good.
As expressed in the video I personally was a little skeptical about the gameplay and was pleasantly surprised by it.

I don't think you noticed that like 99% of them were killed before even reaching the ground.
Tachy seemed pretty capable. Even more than Eve but ended getting killed trying to save Eve and considering they were all mostly killed before reaching ground there may have been quite a few capable ones that never even got the chance to show what they could do.
As about men. Well considering the physical abilities of men you would expect them to be the ones taking the frond line fighting this monsters so i assume the game may have some kind of story behind that. Maybe men can't aren't compatible with that body suit tech or maybe men are almost extinct and rare or maybe Eve etc are created special superhumans in some way that can only be done with female specimens.
At first i though she might be like an Android or something but they seem to be quite human looking at how they died so i rejected that.

What initially had me kinda skeptical about this game was I watched the trailer and it just seemed very derivative of Neir: Automata and featured a generic looking sexy female character. But this could change my mind.
That’s because the director said it’s heavily inspired by Automata (among other games ofc). You definitely can see it in trailers but hopefully the full game has enough to differentiate itself. I’ve already seen weirdos (not you) call it a rip off unfortunately but I’m sure it’ll be more than that).
@@MalachiPlaysGames I will say the character customization (hair length and stylish clothing options) are very impressive for a game like this. From the games I played, Bayonetta only had a few outfit options and they were all kinda goofy looking. But I like what I've seen of this so far.

Sekiro I didn't enjoy as much.
But I also spend hours with the demo and the optional boss, learning every possible move / combo and using the different enhancements. (Attack speed is great).

Lol yeah OP here. So the context behind my comment stems from an unhinged ign france journalist who insulted the game director, saying he has never seen a real woman before when creating Eve. The writer got exposed when it was revealed that not only is Eve's body scan from a literal woman (Korean model Shin Jae-eun), the director is also married to a beautiful (subjective) woman, who happens to also be one of the artists for the game. ign france tried to edit the article after this revelation, changing it from "someone who's never seen a woman" to "someone you'd think has never seen a woman," as if that edit made it any better. As a result, I believe the article was pulled or that part was completely removed, but ign america issued a statement claiming that ign france is its own entity (even though they all fall under the same umbrella) and a sincere apology to the developers at Shift Up, especially to the game director. BUT WAIT. There's more! This is what my comment above is parodying. This french journalist would just not let it go and claimed that Stellar Blade is killing women, whether by men objectifying her and that would cause them to beat women, or by women self-deleting because they cannot live up to Eve's standard of beauty. I am not making this up. Look it up, and come back and tell me: does this lady in the video, and all the other girl streamers here on youtube who uploaded their playthrough of this demo, look like they want to kill themselves after playing this game? Or has there been instance of male gamers beating a woman after playing this game? Make it make sense.

That IGN article is doing a lot worse for real victims, real women facing real mental issues than this game is.
