    I made a mistake in the video. 18650 used was the Molicel P26A, not the P28A.

    I was a little worried about the reflector artifacts on the wall, before you went outside.
    But the light did very well, unless your eyes see different than the camera.
    The battery tube extender is a cool feature, no having to store a separate tube extension.
    Very cool, my edc is a Wuben D1 floodlight, paired with the Manker and I’m set for close to medium range in a very small package.
    Great night shots PTD👍

    That looks like a fun pocket thrower! Impressive lumen output next to the SPERAS M4. I have two Manker MC13, one with a red and one with a white emitter. They're fun mini light sabres (LEPs being the next best thing). MC13 II with SBT90 looks like it packs a punch. 🤣

    I could not resist although the price is a little steep. you’re paying for its uniqueness and the extra boost this little bugger has. It’s like a turbo charge in a car you get the one without the turbo you get it cheaper but you won’t get that performance. Thanks again for a great review.

    Wow, the extendable tube! I have been considering purchasing this light because of the SBT90.2, but was thinking it had a separate 18650 battery tube that I didn’t quite like because it didn’t match the knurling on the 18350 tube. So, I’m a bit closer to pulling the trigger on the copper/black version. Now I just have to get over the price of that limited edition light.

    I wonder if the MC13 II has a hidden engineer mode where you can change the moonlight modes of select a group for a particular type of LED. The original MC13 had the latter, where you could access it by holding the button while screwing the tube on.

    • @PiercingTheDarkness
      @PiercingTheDarkness  Před rokem

      Far out! It increased to 8,000 lumens now 🤣 no hidden menu

    Wow my friend are you really tall? Your hands look huge. I know its a small light..but it looked like when I hold things in my hands. I'm 6 foot 10 inches and size 23 usa shoes. I know the wurkkos is very tiny in my hands 😆 But I love the 18650 extension tube for ts11

      🤣 That's funny. Yes, I'm 6 foot 5 inches.
      Worst part about being tall is fitting in public transport, it's never designed for us.

    Nice, tempting to get one. Looked at the link, amused it offered a battery and the Weltool W4Pro to go with it.🤔

      @PiercingTheDarkness  Před rokem +1

      You should definitely buy a W4Pro as well haha. I reckon those website options aren't actually what is frequently purchased together. It's just something to try get you to buy something else at a slight discount. I have the option on my website, but I have it disabled as I don't like baiting people into making a purchase.

      Oops, I made a mistake, I used a P26A, not the P28A. I only just realized after seeing 1Lumen's review using a P28A and wondering why Nick achieved less output.

    Here's my temp notes I ran out of time to add to the graph
    18650 Turbo - 21°C
    stepdown: 65°C
    30 sec: 51
    1 min: 61
    3 min: 60
    7 min: 63
    10 min: 64 / 55 (head/body)
    30 min: 60 / 55
    60 min: 53 / 48
    18350 Turbo 21°C (Molicel P26A, I made a mistake in the video)
    stepdown: 67°C
    30 sec: 36
    1 min: 44
    3 min: 65 / 58 (head/body)
    5 min: 64 / 60
    7 min: 64 / 60
    10 min: 63 / 59
    The 18350 heated more because it lasted longer at a higher output, thus heating up the whole host. The MC13 isn't programmed to reduce below High level, so it remained hotter for the first 10 or so minutes.

    • @PiercingTheDarkness
      @PiercingTheDarkness  Před rokem +1

      Limited Edition. I've been using it a lot and I'm very happy with it. Definitely gets hot, but not on Med for awhile, and a model this small Low-Med is heaps anyway. Turbo is never meant to be used for very long on any model. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to run all tests on each level. 1Lumen will have all that info soon anyway.

    • @PiercingTheDarkness
      @PiercingTheDarkness  Před rokem

      Plenty of models out there get very hot. The Convoy 4X18A hits over 100°C if left on 35-100%. That's what you call dangerous, but yet everyone loves the convoy models. Same for many Convoy models due to the poor thermal regulation not reducing below 35%. Pretty much the same thing happening on the MC13, Manker haven't programmed it to drop below Med. If programmed to drop to Low, at the tested 400 lumens, it would have been better. Still 400-800 lumens to operate and move between is fine imo. Outside in the cool air with a breeze is going to be a lower temp than sitting inside.

      @@PiercingTheDarkness I rather they build sth more practical in compact size with tir len, sst20/40/sft40 and positive tail switch; like surefire backup but low price

    • @MrCarGuy
      @MrCarGuy Před rokem

      @@PiercingTheDarknessDisagree with forcing thermal regulation. They are simply assuming you are smart enough to know the limits of the light. Getting hot means there is good thermal transfer between the body and the LED. Some people need to use them extended periods. They come tapped with a 1/4 UNC hole to use with a handle or tripod
