A quick summary of the Staccato XC, and an answer as to whether it's worth its pricetag. @Staccato2011 #echodelta #echodelta2a @EchoDelta2A #gunreview
Absolutely awesome video!! I've been on the fence for a few months and I'm very much looking forward to the purchase. People also have to remember that everyone has different size pockets.
The kind of review i always want. Just the gun on focus. Id spend that kind of money on this gun even more. Perhaps flutted barrel as well. Great video.
man oh man oh man... I have my customized Staccato P sitting in the cart waiting for me to push the send button... Then I made the mistake of watching this video.... Now I might need to get this bad boy!!! lawwdd lmao time to go talk to the wife. Great content bud
Agreed only thing that can make it better is a steel grip and a flat trigger! Outside of that nothing can touch it. Although for the 5k I got into mine it should come at least with a flat trigger! I love staccato but that’s my biggest gripe. But for 80 bucks you can change it out.
Really enjoyed this video my friend! You hit the nail right on the head! I currently have the P, XL, STI combat master and now one other secret gun on its way and let me tell you are they expensive? Absolutley! Are they worth every penny? Absolutely! I can leave with debt but I cannot live without these pistols lolol Great video gotta sub from me!
Got a staccato P a month ago it has been the only gun I touch out of my dozen guns. I'll be sending my P to get ported but need a staccato to put my grubby hands on so XC is only natural.
I have a XC, P and C2. No intention of swapping parts or adding lights (unless its your night stand pistol). The guns are good just as shipped. XC is a tack driver extraordinaire.
I like the added weight from the light. Keeps it's nose on target. The SRO makes it effortless to put holes within holes. Neither are required, but I absolutely prefer the added ease of use with the two.
It is certainly the pinnacle of staccato. But you don’t need to wait for someone to come up with something better because it’s already out there. To be fair, there are some things about this gun which are great. I like the fact that the compensator is part of the barrel, as opposed to a screw on part. This makes no difference in performance, but it is pretty cool. It also allows for the site to be island so it doesn’t move. This is how infinity does theirs, but since it’s a red dot it doesn’t really make that much of a difference. It is a soft, flat shooter. However, not a polymer guy. For amusement, I took my threaded staccato P, put on a Cadre comp, atlas trigger, and a trigger job taking it to 2 pounds, lowered the recoil spring to 8 pounds and put on a Cheely grip and mag well. All this for $1000 less than the XC. It’s a beast. To compare apples to apples, you have to do a comparison between this and the atlas Erebus, the nighthawk TRS comp or the nighthawk firehawk double stack and lastly, the Taran tactical sand, viper, or pit viper. There are other boutique brands but they are not available so they are not compared. The nighthawk is better made. There are some issues that make it somewhat challenging. You can’t put an SRO on it because the back iron sight is on the front of the optic. I loved my fire hawk, but the grip, truthfully kind of sucked. There is no real grip to it at all, even though it looks grippy. The atlas, Erebus is God’s gun. Everything is just… Better. And the trigger. Oh my God the trigger. And the grip and the accuracy. And the 45° angle thumb safety. And the lack of a grip safety. And the balance. The Taran tactical is an amazing gun, but not my cup of tea. It’s a little too pimpy for me. For me, when it comes to price point, it’s very difficult to argue with Staccato. They are everywhere with lots of dealers, and not really exotic. They are real pluses to that. But for the best one out there, it’s the atlas so much so that I sold my Staccato, XCand my nighthawk not because I needed the funds to pay for the Atlas but because they never got shot.
I need to get my hands on that Erebus ASAP! I got to play with the TRS Comp at SHOT a couple weeks ago. Needless to say, I nearly creamed my pants when I did. Thanks for the info!
Imho, the Erebus isn't quite an apples to apples comparison but in full agreement with the other models where the comp sits flush to the chassis/dust cover. *grey area on the Firehawk since it's not a full length dustcover and has the outdated 1911 feature. The XC is basically the entry level of the integrated island comp'd pistols and for the money arguably the better bang for the buck. I've shot the SandHawk, the discontinued DVC P and the Sand Viper. Said pistols can be 1100 - 2700 more than the XC. I don't see the gain in cost based on shooting experience I had with these guns. If the Erebus is God's gun then I'll say the XC is the people's gun. But! If Atlas made the Erebus' comp to sit flush like the XC and others - I would definitely consider that as my next pistol But at that price point, there's others that come to mind: Phoenix Trinity's H TAC, Akai's Tactical Carry and I'm sure there will be others jumping on the band wagon to compete with XC's price point.
I was never the kind of guy that could put Z06 wheels and Z06 scoops on my Corvette in order to call it a Z06. I'd rather have the real thing. And Atlas's are gorgeous, but then again... They are an extra grand. I'd love to own one at some point soon.
All staccatos have polymer trigger bows, although the rest of everything that matters behind it is metal. Makes no difference in terms of the crispness of the trigger IMO. Feels just as clean as my Nighthawk's aluminum one.
FACTS! Once I started shooting my XC at the range. I haven't thought about the money that I paid for it once!
Having own both the P and the XC, the XC is hands down THE BEST gun I have ever shot/owned. Worth the price and it's so damn sexy.
I love my XC. Worth every single cent.
Ordered mine a week ago. Should get to me in about 3 more weeks or less. This video made me want it even more.
You're gonna love it! Congrats on your purchase.
What an amazing video what an amazing handgun this was poetry in motion brother keep it going congrats on that firearm it's beautiful
I just got mine home you are 100% spot on in this video!!
Absolutely awesome video!! I've been on the fence for a few months and I'm very much looking forward to the purchase. People also have to remember that everyone has different size pockets.
Hope you enjoy it!
Mine is being delivered in two days. I can’t wait.
Congrats and enjoy!
Great commentary. Well done.
I just got my first Staccato.....a C2 and I absolutely love it! I can only dream how the XC is! Great video
The Staccatos are all pretty awesome. I also have a C2 and a XC but I would not want to lug the XC around as a carry gun.
A real beauty
Love your presentation. Very clean. Very professional
Much appreciated 👍
Totally true.
I got my and it's made me better shooter.
And he'll give you a huge dose of confidence every time ob the range
Awesome 😎 video!

Appreciate the feedback and a flutted barrel would definitely put it over the top, I agree.

I know the struggle brotha! You can't go wrong with either but if you can dish out the extra $$$, the XC is primo!
It’s always easier to ask for forgiveness than permission 😉
I have the exact same set up. Same for me as an expensive gun. So worth the money. Only issue is it makes my other guns feel like crap.

Well said! Buy one, cry once with these pistols. Worth every penny. Thanks for the sub!
I would love to convert that XC with 2 port comp for higher loads

Beutifull gun

Dang bro chill, this isn't a commercial for staccato... But damn you sold it 😮
😂

I love my gen 2 P , I long for the xc lol
This guy excelled n creative writing 🤣 sub

I want more upgrades for my Staccato P but I have to control myself😂
I just picked one up and not shot it yet. Just caressing it 😅❤❤❤!
Enjoy it my brother. The foreplay is the best part 😂
I jumped when you slammed it closed on an empty chamber.
😂. It's capable of enduring much more 😜
I'm still waiting for he .45 XC, with extended magazines.
Dude, you're making me drool right now
Atlas Erebus is King. Love my Staccato’s but that Erebus runs circles around them.
I really need to try one. You're the second person that's told me the same in the last few hours. So damn intrigued!
@@EchoDelta2A you close to Virginia? I could help you out with that if so.
@@kbrown4804 Wish I was brother. I'm in the newly admitted to Communist level state of Illinois lol.
Totally agree! I had an XC and now an Erebus. Erebus is a step up in every way.
Yeah my erebus is softer and flatter than my XC. Don't get me wrong, XC is still amazing
what was that intro song ?? it's so good

@@EchoDelta2A thanks
I like this brand guns, but by chance no have in caliber .45?
They used to when they were known as STI. Now, everything they have is 9mm, for the most part.
What song is that in the intro?
Radiowave by Fullstack
Pricy, but heo never shot anything like the xc ❤
I'd prefer the atlas ares. No grip safety, I love it
Haven't shot one yet, but I'm definitely going to do so soon
Should have just added a comp, 7lbs recoil spring and trigger job to your P and saved $2000. Better option? Atlas
I was never the kind of guy that could put Z06 wheels and Z06 scoops on my Corvette in order to call it a Z06. I'd rather have the real thing. And Atlas's are gorgeous, but then again... They are an extra grand. I'd love to own one at some point soon.
Not the same thing. Trust me this gun is worth every penny.
@@POPJack1717 I have both the P and xc
polymer trigger?

This or the FX2?
Very different guns, and not really comparable. BUT, if I can only have one... Staccato, all damn day.
@@EchoDelta2A you doing a video review on the fx2?
Will be out this weekend 😉
