Whether they decide to carry on or let the past stay in the rear view is the question. What I can confirm is that it's the best 1911 I've ever owned 🥹. Ed Brown FX-2: A 1911 Built For Optics
I had a steel frame Staccato P and found it highly overrated, so I sold it. This pistol looks nice.
Im get one at some point in the future
Still adamant about it being the best shooting pistol I've ever experienced. You'll never regret it.
@@EchoDelta2A I'm jeolous
It’s so accurate an optic is a waste . I had one on it and don’t need it it shoots everything right on top of each other , a optic on a gun like this is a waste of money
I disagree. If you've ever experienced a Military/LE virtual training simulator, you'll understand the advantage a red dot gives to any shooter, no matter how experienced or inexperienced. We had a good mix of noobs and seasoned vets, and everyone improved their time and accuracy with a red dot... Everyone. When you're in a panic situation, the dot is just more intuitive to pickup. Add to that that the MRD irons aren't my favorite either, and there's every reason for an optic (and a good one) to be necessary on such a capable pistol. Just my $.02
Your firearm kills innocent people bc they don't have the same views as you do? So much for the First Amendment True Patriot. 🙄
Huh? Dude, please do us all a favor and stay off the interzones. You've been fed a little too much of that Biden 💩.
Went to purchase this firearm yesterday the safety was poorly fitted and loose on one side shame on Jacob Grey should never happen on a $2,500 pistol!
Growing pains, I guess. Mine had a faulty extractor after just a few rounds. Definitely not full proof yet.
@@EchoDelta2A should never happen on a $2500 firearm
I need your help deciding. I have a TP9N on order but I’m double minded. How much shorter is the TP9N than this APC9K Pro ? And the weight differences ? Hopefully you help me make my mind up
11.9" and 3.75lbs on the TP9N and 14.66" and 6.75lbs on the APC9K. Personally, I like the additional weight on the APC, along with the build quality. Makes it a flatter shooter. The TP9 is a design that was originally owned by Steyr and bought out by B&T to try to resurrect it. There's a reason the military adopted the APC9K though. It's a tac driver and built to withstand punishment.
What light is that??
Streamlight TLR-VIR II
@@EchoDelta2A much appreciated
The NN is their best looking 1911's by far. The rest of their stuff just looks tacky.
Why does it look Ak?
It's based on a Saiga-12
Really enjoyed your video man great job might have just purchased one 😅
Geeee...I think those are everyone's favorite guns of 2023..
😁
What light snd optic are you running
Holosun 508T-GR and Streamlight TIR-VIR II
What kind of grips are those? Sweet looking blaster by the way!
Standard, smooth aluminum grips from: www.alumagrips.com/products/1911-full-and-compact#Standard%20Smooth
l have seen your video on the dan Wesson specialist as well. How does this rock river stack up against the specialist? Would you choose one over the other, if you could only get one? I’m curious as I have been looking at the specialist for some time as well. Thanks!
No contest. The Rock River is next level. Smoothest and most well-built 1911 I've ever owned, and that includes the Nighthawk and Guncrafter I used to own. The Dan Wesson is a great production gun, but the RR is a semi-custom and pretty much completely hand-built
What version of the song is that?
czcams.com/video/RDUO4qZW_Mg/video.htmlsi=GseXFZT1ig7k_w2o
I have a few APC pro guns and I am looking at this APC 223 pro in 8.7 to be my next rifle. I’d get it setup very similar to you.
Still the go-to of my collection
I couldn't find any information on CZcams that compares the steel frame version to the aluminum frame version. At least you mentioned that the pro for the steel frame is more pleasant shooting and the pro for the aluminum frame is better for carrying all day long. I very much appreciate that bit of information. I don't currently own a P, but I am considering getting one soon. I own a C2 and a C2, and both of them are steel frames. Thank you for the very informative video.
My pleasure. Definitely would recommend the aluminum frame if you're carrying on a regular basis. If seldomly doing so, the steel frame is the better option.
Tactical version is second to the non-tactical version if you're shooting unsurpressed.
Im looking at that same sttock how do you like it ,or have you tried something else. Thankyou
I mean, aesthetically, it's great. Not much to it though. I'd love the collapsible one on rails, but haven't tried it yet.
Korth 🔥🔥🔥💪 sexy gun
Just piked up my Trapper. Nib $1400ish
Great deal! Enjoy!
These Guy's at Hayse are the Grandsons of Jim Clark. THe man who started all the dominance for so many years of Custom 1911's in competition. He and Armed Swenson hold a special place in the history of fine 1911's and their innovations. KnifeMaker
I swear that I'll put it up against an Infinity any day!
what muzzle break is that and how do you like it?
Precision Armament Hypertap. If you don't mind loud AF, it's phenomenal 🤣. Recoil reduction, precise fit and alignment, top notch build quality. www.opticsplanet.com/precision-armament-hypertap-muzzle-brakes-45-caliber.html
I love mine. An extremely well built pistol.
Is that Silver/Black 2 tone with black grip? Wish site had more pics. Noticed colors look very different based on lighting
It's all black DLC with gold trigger. Their black DLC slide is brushed so it gives it sort of a charcoal look in certain lights. Absolutely gorgeous
Dan Wesson or CZ U.S.A. ""coughs"" has terrible P.R. or customer service. Everyone knows that. I disagree with you saying they are no#1 . I personally think Colt Gold cup will give them a run for their money at a much lower cost. If we are talking about accuracy. For which we buy all our guns for. I personally think they are overpriced, and behind the times. But to each their own. Since they were bought out I'll bet like history teaches us. They will turn into an overpriced shyte gun. Look at Remington and all the other buy outs. CZ will slack and down goes the Quality. Never once has it ever been any difference in buy outs. Great gun, goes to shyte gun. 100% happens every single time. Name one time it hasn't??? Peace.
Though I agree about the eventual results of a buyout, I don't think that CZ has shown any signs of slowing down. I agree that DW are getting overpriced, but I'm talking to someone that thinks the Colt Gold Cup has decent value. No offense meant, but quality vs quality, there's no contest. Colt's quality on 1911s has been suspect for years, and they're priced on the premium side. Also have QC issues, before and after the CZ buyout. Customer service, I agree, has been an issue for DW. Ideally, these shouldn't cost more than $1200 in today's market. Then again, a Colt should be under $1k. Based on all the 1911s I handled at SHOT show and NRA more recently, Springfield TRPs are the best value with the best build for the money. I've been thoroughly impressed with their tight fit and tolerances.
I absolutely love mine. Shoots great, reliable, all the features needed, and one of the best lookin pistols in the business.
look like a HALO DMR
What’s the optics brand and light?
It's the Deltapoint Pro red dot, and it's the Streamlight TLR-VIR II light

I’m absolutely obsessed with my shockwave “firearm”. I have not even shot it yet. I was looking for mods to improve sight and grip along with a saddle as I don’t like to keep loaded next to my bed. This sir is absolutely epic. Your build is so clean. The only thing is I which the rail on top was not full picitininny the whole way. I wish it was like the st Victor .308 where it’s flat and smooth and only the tip was a rail and the back for the laser. But that’s being too picky. I love the spike. So if you see a black version of this out there. It’s an ode to you my friend. Looks great. Also I’m 50/50 on the laser. I saw the pump grip with a light/laser built in. I think I’d like that better even if it makes it more front heavy. For me. I love this so much I might purchase a second one to keep in the car and by my bed side and maybe a third to keep in a bug out bag. Thanks for the upload.
Glad to hear it, and hope you enjoy!
It looks better but doesn’t shoot better than a Staccato.
I agree, but it may also be due to the shorter barrel.
@@EchoDelta2A My humble opinion, you can compare it to the CS or Bul Armory SAS. The TWC is definitely a good pistol. Now, the Agency Arms Sage Dynamic Glock 45 comp is something people almost never talks about and it would give a lot of those 2011s a run for their money… and that’s coming from someone that swear by 2011s
🔥🔥🔥
You like Dan Wesson and you like CZ = DWX. I just got the DWX compact Optic ready with rails, I’ll pick it up next week. And compare it to my staccato C2 and Shadow 2 compact. I can’t wait.
Saw it at NRA and was definitely impressed! Enjoy and let me know what you think.
How does the light and laser look together? Is the laser still visible?
Laser is still visible with the light on to about 40 yards or so. Fades out at further distances.
Did you really let the crown ride on a steel rod? REALLY??? KnifeMaker
😂. They've got polymer sleeves over them. Gallowtech makes great shit 👍
@@EchoDelta2A Thank You Sir, it looked like pure metal on camera. Whew!!!t ;<) KnifeMaker

Sexy
How do you change the reticle to a triangle?
Can't really change it to my knowledge. You have to buy the variant with the reticle you want. Their electronic optics give you the option to change reticles though. Like their Foresight optic.
What light is that on the gun???
Streamlight TLR-VIR II
With a nice little price tag of 4k
Unfortunately, the finer things in life tend to come at a steep price. That said, better $4k on this than spending more than double on a lesser pistol with some gimmicky BS, like every TTI pistol from a John Wick movie for example 😂.
I'll never understand the every accassory in the underwear drawer mind set...a .308 auto loader is heavy enough to start with....no need to reduce your front arm carrying capacity with a pistol grip and thumb switches you can't reach..... that said I love my M&P-10, but my Tavor 7 has replaced it as my favorite .308
I feel Bullpups, especially in 308, benefit from a grip or at least a handstop you can brace your hand up against. They're very rear heavy, so muzzle rise is more of an issue than with a conventional rifle. The grip or handstop helps to mitigate some of that. Everything else is usually just for show lol.
Hello, can you give me the reference of the red hot plate and the reference of your red hot please?
Red Dot plate is from Langdon Tactical, but it can only fit Langdon cut slides. It's the RMR plate, and the red dot is the Holosun 508T-GR
