A whole bunch of people talking that have never been in the court system. You have to plead not guilty, have a pre-trial conference and plead guilty to lesser charge. If you just plead guilty immediately, you will be charged the maximum penalty period, even if your crime doesn't meet the maximum penalties, no accident, no other people involved, how cooperative were you to the police? All that matters in the final decision of the court. People need to understand how the court system works. So what if he's a celebrity, he'll pay a fine like anyone else.
