- www.mysterywire.com/ Officially, the disappearance of Teamsters leader Jimmy Hoffa in 1975 has never been solved. The FBI believes Hoffa was murdered by mobsters, but who was the triggerman? Investigative reporter George Knapp reports the story of a man who says he’s the one who pulled the trigger, even though he and Hoffa were friends. Originally aired on Nov. 14, 2006, on KLAS TV in Las Vegas. Second of 3 Parts. #MysteryWire
Plot Twist: Jimmy Hoffa is still alive and waiting at the Red Fox restaurant. He's complaining to the waiter, "Who the hell is 45 years late to a meeting!?!"

It’s literally the dude that wrote the book.
@@jvincemusic he didn't write the book, the book was written about him.
me myself I thought the lawyer mentioned he was helping Sheeran put the book and stories together prior to his death...which may mean that, yes, it was written about him...but written using his own firsthand stories, which is pretty close to writing the book.
@@jvincemusic fair enough.
The ending to the Irishman was so sad man, Frank had nothing or noone left, and he was forced to kill one of his closer friends just to save his own skin...

Hoffa's disappearance has led to countless books, movies and new articles. Tens of thousands of amateur and pro detectives tracking down even the smallest of leads. @@lalida6432 I think it's what Frank Sheeran told them. Makes sense... body has never been found and it's probably the easiest most simple way to make someone disappear. This is how they portrayed his death in that new movie The Irishman
@Moonrock High No, Michael Franzese said that.
Awesome! Didn't even realize this video was George Knapp when I saw the thumbnail. Most definitely my favorite Coast to Coast AM host behind the late Art Bell of course.
He's great, wish I could catch the Coast more often
Sheeran's story is credible as to the facts. But what makes it all the more compelling is that it came out at the end of his life, basically on his deathbed. Deathbed confessions to long-past crimes deserve serious consideration as there are usually very few incentives to lie at that point, and quite a few disincentives, particularly that it risks changing how you are remembered by your family and friends.
Some ppl will keep a lie even to the grave. We have no idea if he’s telling the truth or not. Just because he’s about to die doesn’t mean he won’t still lie! Lmaoooo the lie could be protecting a loved one or someone caught in the middle
No doubt it’s true. His own daughters say he did it
@@Swismcgraw Well, yes, obviously we still don't know the truth. I'm not saying we do. Nonetheless, at English common law, deathbed confessions (where the dying person knows he is dying and admits responsibility for a crime) were afforded special status under evidence rules. These confessions just happen to be more likely to be true. 'More likely' doesn't mean 'always' of course. So as amateur historians considering the potential veracity of Sheeran's story, we can choose to ignore his confession or not. Either is a valid approach to analysis with good reasons for it. I happen to think his admission of this crime, finally discharging the massive guilt he must have felt for killing his friend and destroying a family knew well, should be taken seriously.
Pretty crazy it doesn't get more press , but one of the CIA affiliated Cubans who worked as a "plumber" for Nixon, E. Howard Hunt made a deathbed confession about being involved in the JFK assassination.
Sheeran didn't kill Joey Gallo and he didn't kill Jimmy Hoffa

That's Martin Scorsese for you. His attention to detail is unrivaled.
Death bed confessions carry a lot of credibility.
Oh yes. "Dying declarations" as they are called are admissible in courts of law when told to the police or prosecutors office.
No reason to lie by that time.
@@kimthurston9192 Every reason to lie by that time. He's about to die, be gone forever, no new chapter in his life, now claiming to be the one who killed Hoffa is the last chance to matter in history. The last years of his life must have been horrible. He was a big name back then and everyone who knew that died. The mob has basically disappeared and nobody gave a shit about him anymore. And it's proven that he didn't paint Hoffa's house.
@@kimthurston9192 He had a huge reason to lie...to sell his book for money to leave his family
@@charlescarter4608 Can't do that, the law doesn't allow it, you can't make a profit from books, articles, interviews, etc. being in prison.

If Sheeran can say, "He (Hoffa) was one of the best men I ever knew," then I can't help but wonder that Sheeran (and anyone he regularly associated with) never put any value -- at all -- on genuinely decent people: i.e. folks who have a conscience and strive every day to do the right thing from moment to moment, trying to follow "The Golden Rule" in their dealings with other people. I try to avoid clichés like the word "evil," but for someone this cold-hearted and depraved, I think it fits. Their Karma follows them at death into their next lives. Choose your friends (and all associates) VERY carefully, folks!
