- In this video, we'll be exploring the city of Durrës, Albania. We'll be looking at the things to do in the city, as well as some of the underrated attractions that should not be missed. We'll also be looking at the food in the city, as well as some of the best beachfront areas to spend a day at.
If you're looking for a city to explore in the Balkans, Durres should definitely be on your list. With plenty of things to do, beaches to visit, a roman infusion for history buffs this city is excellent. It's also in a great location to access many other wonderful places to visit in Albania and also the surrounding countries. We definitely prefer this city as short term base over Tirana check out the video to see why!

Vlore is the best city in Albania
Yes we’ve heard it’s lovely there but we didn’t have a chance to visit. We did prefer Durres over Tirana however
