  • From the moment I first saw her portrayed on the television screen to being called (affectionately) an "Anne Boleyn nutter" at Hever Castle, I can't get enough Anne Boleyn. She was my gateway to the Tudors and history, then to speaking, podcasting, and writing about history!

I’m Anne Boleyn obsessed also.. I saw the PBS show of the six wives with Kieth Michell. The episode of Anne Boleyn with Dorothy Turin was so disappointing. But, I wanted to know more. My bookshelf looks like yours. Anne if the thousand days is my favorite depiction of Anne.

Sorry, there was no way pope Clement was annulment Henry marriage. He had given him a dispensation to marry. Plus he had a living daughter. Charles v was a good excuse for him not to. Btw, the pope had been correct, Anne Boleyn was not a suitable wife. Had she had a son, Henry would not have killed her.
