THE LONGEST RIDE centres on the star-crossed love affair between Luke, a former champion bull rider looking to make a comeback, and Sophia, a college student who is about to embark upon her dream job in New York City’s art world. As conflicting paths and ideals test their relationship, Sophia and Luke make an unexpected and life altering connection with Ira, whose memories of his own decades-long romance with his beloved wife deeply inspire the young couple. Spanning generations and two intertwining love stories, THE LONGEST RIDE explores the challenges and infinite rewards of enduring love.
The film stars Britt Robertson (Tomorrowland) and Scott Eastwood (Fury) in the lead roles as Luke and Sophia. Robertson and Eastwood are joined by Jack Huston (American Hustle), Oona Chaplin (Game of Thrones) and Alan Alda (The Aviator). Directed by George Tillman Jr. (Men of Honour), produced by Marty Bowen (Fault in Our Stars), Wyck Godfrey (Twilight series), Theresa Park (Best of Me), Nicholas Sparks (Safe Haven). The screenplay is written by Craig Bolotin (Light It Up).

This is a great story, writing, directing, casting, acting.
Nicholas Sparks is a master at jerking those tears we thought weren't there.

*being behind the seems makes me realize at least in this movie that it seems so boring and awkward actually being there. We the movie viewers get to listen to music to put us in the mood of mostly every scene they don't so for them it's just plain silent I can't imagine when they're doing the sex scenes especially in movies like 50 shades of grey and they just have to repeat it over and over again it really takes the magic away from it:/*
They add background music for the actors at times, this doesn't always happen.

When you actually think about it you really realize how all their lines are scripted their movements are scripted everything is scripted! It's so weird to see how they have no connection or feelings toward each other at all and their both there to do a job..an amazing job by the way💫

you don’t just come out of know where and ride a bull that bucks like that... that would be like saying he really won the Daytona 500 LoL that takes years and years before even the best in the word are able to ride like that.

I really liked the movie(main reason of course...Scott Eastwood) even though I'm completely against bull-riding or any other 'sport' with freaked-out animals on purpose so we can have a good time !!!

If you knew anything about Bull Riding you would understand that the bulls are treated better then most of the riders. They are always treated with the utmost respect. there is no animal cruelty involved...
