Disney and Pixar’s “Elemental” is an all-new, original feature film set in Element City, where Fire-,
Water-, Earth- and Air-residents live together. The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted and
fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade
challenges her beliefs about the world they live in. Directed by Peter Sohn, produced by Denise
Ream, p.g.a., and executive produced by Pete Docter, “Elemental” features a screenplay by John
Hoberg & Kat Likkel and Brenda Hsueh with story by Sohn, Hoberg & Likkel and Hsueh. The film’s
original score was composed and conducted by Thomas Newman. “Elemental” opens only in
theaters on June 16, 2023.

I really love Wade's voice like there's something in it that i can't make sense of but yeah like it sounds so good.
He sounds almost Jack Mcbrair-ish, like a slightly deeper voiced brother or something 😮

You can tell these guys had so much fun. I love that Leah and Mamoudou got to record some lines together; it makes the scene feel more authentic.

I hope we see more of Mamoudou in future animated projects. He’s absolutely hysterical and brings so much heart and charm to Wade.
And those romantic lines that he says so perfectly? Man…I don’t get butterflies often but they actively happened whenever he was so sweet and tender with Ember.
Yea like it felt like the first time I’ve heard lines like that be said and they sound genuine
Oh my God, yes! Absolutely! I just watched it yesterday, and it's such a wonderful film. I think Mamodou is so perfect as Wade; I really hope he does more animated projects in the future.
And I totally agree about his romantic lines. My heart melted hearing him, the lines were so genuine and beautiful.
yeah? I honestly sometimes found that his voice tone was a little too adult for the character. But I liked the emotions he could create.
I really like that they got an actress with a smoky voice to play Ember. How fitting!
I honestly don’t know why this movie has so much backlash, I absolutely loved it! Can’t get enough of it.
i think for a couple reasons. 1 not enough marketing for it. I didn't even know this movie existed until i found the song by Lauv - Steal the show. and 2...people who make a living around politics. These people literally have to politicize everything and try and justify every decision made with some kind of political motivation.
So conservatives shat on the film for being about an immigrant story as well as an interracial couple story as if any of that doesn't apply anymore because apparently sending the message that interracial couples can work as well as the hardships that immigrants go through when picking up and moving their entire lives to another country is something that isn't worth telling anymore.
I think it was advertised wrong,. At least here in the UK, the advertising made it seem like an Inside Out or Zootopia clone, which I had no interest in so I didn't go to see it in the cinema, but I watched it on Disney + and loved it.

This movie has to be seen on the big screen at the cinema. I watch again at home and the feeling is so different

The voice acting in this movie is nothing but... 💋 Chef's kiss.
Man After 7 years of production, they presented this to us. It's incredible! One of my favorite movies of the year, in all honesty. Additionally, the smash-hit song Lauv - Steal the Show is an absolute banger, it warms my heart listening to this song and it always sets me back to Amber and Wade dating. Fantastic product and incredibly romantic film. Anybody who are fans of this genre of romantic animation?
AND PIXAR, we must have an Elemental 2 immediately! my current greatest wish🙏🏻
