@@brokeboy87 The Gladiator would have done significantly better had it been priced in line with Jepp products sold 10 years ago. It's really a shame because there are some good ideas in the product. It needs some quality improvements, some product improvements, and a derivative of the Hurricane instead of the old 3.6.

@@hochhaul Yes, since around last October, the discounts both Jeep and dealer have brought them down into the ballpark of what they should have been selling in the first place imho. So, my basically 61K MSRP version at the 42 and change I paid for it was in the sweet spot.

I bought a 2020 Gladiator and had it for 3 years. It handled better, drove better, and was far more comfortable than the '19 Tacoma TRD Offroad that I had before it...even with a 3 inch lift and on 35" tires! Not a lick of trouble from it, and got great trade in value when I sold it. I was real happy with mine, and when you drop the top on a nice day...home run! Im guessing all the folks throwing stones at this truck havent driven it.

Their marketing is out of touch with reality, there's no way Jeep tried to determine what the customer wants, they just followed a trend in settling on this configuration. Not everyone wants the massive 4 door cabin with an afterthought for a cargo area. Pickups are all about work, Jeep, make a real Scrambler and watch how fast they sell! Offer an extra cab version, one platform could be adapted with different bed sizes, and while you are at it, offer a better engine choice.

Stellantis SHOULD be worried. They priced everyone out of the market over the past year or two. Couple that with interest rates? That equals "mess". I've watched the Jeep Gladiator prices falling. And 11/13/23, I finally jumped. Got a 2023 Gladiator Willys in High Velocity. MSRP was $56,675. I paid $39,673. That's $17,002 in rebates. Dealer matched Jeep's own rebate of $8,501. No brainer for me 30% off? There were more available with similar deals in Kennewick WA. Two 2023 witth Eco Diesel. Back story there - had a 2014 RAM 1500 Eco Diesel that was absolutely NEUTERED after ECM flash. I sold it 2 months later.
Don't get me wrong - there's NOTHING wrong with these other than an MSRP that was jacked up $10-20k over past few years.

Nope, still not a deal. Frontier and Colorado still are the best deals in today's market for a new one.
People should start getting into building up a good used 10-20 year old full size truck and getting cheaper insurance, decent mpg, and a title, = no payments. Surely things will need to be repaired and repaired but it won't sit at a dealership for weeks for recall/warranty work waiting to be done. These days it pays to be smart and savvy with automobiles..

All car companies have over inflated there prices. Your in a 2023 not a 2024 the price difference will shock you. Toyota prices will turn off a lot of people. GM seems to be the only company that hasn't lost it's mind with prices!

easy to give discounts if they insanely overprice it in the first place lol
edit: wth it's a "buy two deal", incredibly dumb "deal", why would anyone buy two of this monstrosity, even with the deal that would cost them nearly $100k lol

Id say 20k to 25k should be reasonable for the mojave or rubicon for that matter. its the engine and the MPG! I could see a V8 for 40k but other than that the MPG really hits the spot! I person will spend at least 60 dollars or more at the pump every week, and that hits the pocket books a little bit to hard, Dodge went a little over board with the pricing, and the Dealerships just took advantage of the whole thing too.A Demon at 70k was going for over 130k but come on That's just taking the consumer for a ride and then some. If dodge/jeep was smart they just do a direct buy from their web sites and turn the dealerships into mechanic shops for doing the consumer wrong! No more haggling for price just straight up this is the price that we would like it at, if you trade a vehicle in we could give you this for it, then direct ship it to the consumer have the shipper pick up their old vehicle with the paper work/title, had them the new title if they paid it in full or tell them that the title will be mailed after it paid in full. Less talking garbage and waiting for hours on end to get the vehicle and to be handled over to another department/person at the dealership. Less stressful situations.

For current salaries and inflation, paying over $500/month (including insurance) is just too much.
