I’ve started to Identify”Honey” as a signature note I taste in many of their products. Heaven hill distillery rocks
that tea note comes off as lipton sweet tea to me lol. I also get a lot of the peach that he mentioned.
My go to wheated bourbon, the barrel proof is even better

I find larceny to be a wonderful approach to bourbon. But ill drink literally anything neat and after a few drinks itll taste good.

@@benmayhew373 if you mean that in usd. Yeah kind of expensive, but some stores in my state, and others, they’re around that range. So you’re not paying that much more, for a pretty damn good bourbon.
@@benmayhew373 I think you guys get ‘Eagle Rare” bourbon cheaper than we do in the states, which is weird. All about the shipping costs and vendor/owner relations at the time, I guess.

Hmmm - i thought you didn't like this one in another video. It seems to have a bad taste/burn at the end to me. Is the barrel proof much better?
It's slowly dropped down the list for me as I tried more Wheated whiskeys. The barrel proof is a different story.
Like it ok.
Prefer others, but I do keep a bottle when I want something different.

Yes. Maker's is a little sweeter to me and has a little more of the cinnamon toast spice. If you like Maker's, you should try Larceny. I have to give it to Maker's ultimately, but you might go the other direction. 👍🏻🥃

You don’t get that weird moldy flavor? I do, and it’s ugly
I so wanted to like this bouran but I just don't. I do get the tea note but the flavors really do not come through. I get strong ethanol and alcohol that dominate. Definite pass for me.
I've found that I prefer Rebel, Maker's, Weller, and the new Bardstown Wheated bourbon for sure. Now, larceny Barrel Proof... That's another story.
