When you have these demands to constantly be creating and putting out new content, by yourself, with no sound board or help, and knowing that if you don't put something out someone else- it can cause burn out and pressure which takes a toll on the quality of your videos and life! Here is how I've learned to deal with it, and what I have been up to this week.

My Millennial Life Crisis was started 3 years ago when I was stuck in a rut creatively, career wise, and personally. People like stability. That’s why we watch because all our lives are chaos but you have someone with a life of self imposed chaos, who never uploads and then decides to upload and then not and then yes most will unsubscribe.
Woooah, what's happening with your views is what's been happening with my books. My sales just seem to keep going down even when I spend money on advertising that used to work really well. I think the world is just getting flooded with the products or channels of creative people, so the sales are getting spread thinner per person as there is just so much available to choose from.

Monica... Real Talk: You move too often to have to keep buying new furniture. What happened to the old furniture? You should really spend time in your office because it’s such a waste. I liked when you did things for Organizations or go on trips. Your vlogs are looking the same..”moving, airport, baseball”. Do a Q and A, dish about the boyfriend, tell us your struggles, tell us how you are going to grow...
Hena Hasan shes a very talented filmmaker but she definitely is in a repetitive motion- Monica needs to take more risks in her filming and tackle different topics. I loved the video she made about trying different places in Seattle she should do more like that
So sad to hear that your views aren’t as good as they used to be... i love your editing style and content. tbh I feel like most youtubers these days make really dumb videos that are geared more towards younger crowds. I always look forward to new videos from you!
Why dont you just reuse the furniture you already have, you move around so much its seems odd to keep spending a bunch of money on new stuff every time you move.
believe it or not, sometimes moving cost more... When i moved from nyc to seattle it costed me 10k yes just to move my stuff across the country. We ended up saving more money but throwing some away and re buying than to move everything. ALL DEPENDS , the only bucky thing I took was my 8k coffee table gifted by my mom. We threw the rest away or else it would easily cost 20K+
@@7lol2007 that's a great point and I totally agree but didn't she have a bunch of stuff at her parents house from when she lived in Seattle the last time with all those girls or when she lived with her parents. Last time she was in her old room I could have sworn I saw a ton of stuff but even if she gave it all away. I don't understand spending 1200 on a dresser alone when she knows she moves around a lot it's not like she is re buying cheap stuff every time. But it's not my money so I should probably stay out of it I was just curious

LoOoL She isn’t moving across the country though. She’s still in Seattle, so it doesn’t make sense that she keeps buying new things. And it’s not like she can’t afford it.

I've been watching you for years and honestly enjoy everything you post. Your videos are so nicely edited and your openness makes you easy to watch, keep going girla.

Honestly 90% of the turn off for youtubers for me is them complaining about their job. Yes, we want you to be real, and I get that everyone has issues with their jobs, but whenever I open a video in my subscriptions that's another one of my favorite youtubers complaining about how youtube has changed and they don't like what theyre doing, it feels so negative and repetitive. You're incredibly talented and I understand how youtube might not be fulfilling, but if it's what you're going to continue to do, it's all about changing your mindset and getting yourself feeling excited about it again. Sometimes you just don't want to do it, and that's totally understandable, but at some point, you have to push past your mood and just do it--oftentimes I find that makes me feel better about whatever it is I don't want to do.
That was a long rant, but basically my point is that the viewers love watching these videos from you and all their other favorite youtubers, and when they're complaining about doing what we love to watch them do, it doesn't make us want to spend time watching them.
360p club. BUT, I know plenty of artists who are currently going through a burn-out. I do like hearing about other people's struggles, only because it makes me feel less isolated (not because I want to hear other people struggling).

Honestly. I feel like you don't need an office. It probably costs a lot of money - And I thought you were going to be sharing it. The time that you are spending decorating your office could be on bigger and better projects

i never usually comment on your videos, but i just wanted to say i've been watching your videos ever since you made a second channel, and usually with youtubers i'll watch them consistently for a while and then my interest will drop and i'll only watch them occasionally. but with your channel, you are maybe the only youtuber who's videos i always and have always watched, every time you post. and that's because you are SO consistent, no matter where you are or how your situation changes. you've taken breaks and tried new things, but ultimately your videos are always so slick, professional and interesting to watch. i get so motivated by how positive and enthusiastic you are, and i think your honesty really makes your viewers empathise with you and make us feel like you're a part of our lives. basically, i just wanted to say i'm sorry your channels have been losing views and subscribers, but it's nothing to do with the quality of your videos. they are just as great as they've always been.

Thank you for addressing this! I have never depended 100% on my CZcams income to pay for life, but there was a 6-month period of time where I lost my main job and CZcams paid all my bills and mortgage and I couldn't imagine having that be my full-time everyday source of income! All the respect!

LOVE YOUR MILLENNIALLIFECRISIS SERIERS i will forever love. But it does become uninteresting when consistency is gone.

So true. If I’m not keeping up with your life on the reg, I lose interest and don’t care what your daily life is like anymore. Then it bores me cus it feels like we’re not “friends” anymore lol. The only regular daily vlogs I watch are like Remis. She uploads all the time and so I care about what she’s up to.
Love you too much to never stop watching, I will always stick around. As a viewer sometimes i also like to let videos build up that way i can watch more at once :)

No offense, because I love your channel and think you’re so great, but how are you burnt out when you’re seemingly doing nothing? You have a hard time sticking to the things you say you’re going to do (Flipping Out, one video a week on your main channel) and that’s probably a cause for the lack of views. You can’t expect people to stick around when you aren’t adding anything to their feed. If you don’t know what you want to make anymore, stop thinking so hard and upload whatever you want, whenever you want. You’re clearly someone who can’t be consistent and it probably has more to do with not liking the feeling of HAVING to upload something because you haven’t in a while after saying you’d upload more. Stop making promises you know you can’t keep and adding unnecessary pressure to yourself and I can guarantee you the burn out will subside and the views will go up.

I agree with you. It’s hard. I know bc I’m often in the same boat where I have to strive to do what I do. A lot of it is putting pressure on myself to meet expectations (that i set for myself) and then on top of that, create new things. So your “to do list” is never ending. It’s creating new context. It’s following up on older things. It’s brainstorming about the next 10-15 videos. Etc. it’s more than just filming a video. I’m sure she stresses over what’s next on top of actually executing what’s next. I don’t agree with you POV of self induced on purpose. I do believe it’s self induced but by the fact that she can’t find a system that works for her. I think once she realizes that this isn’t something she can do on her own, and puts in the time and resources to invest in her channel, it will stay stagnant if not continue to decline. Sometimes you just have to take a leap or just keep grinding (50-60hrs/week) until you see those results.

Monica I love you and your channel but I think it might help if you try to be a bit more consistent!! I love seeing your blogs and sometimes it does make it even better when you do upload because there’s not much consistency but it would definitely help if you had a schedule in terms of upload

I do lose interest in watching...when you only post a few videos here and there. For us...its like watching your favorite show each week. Your excited to see the next episode....but with you tubers...we have to guess when your going to post your next vlog. If you wait too long we lose interest. Some people do not like to invest their time like that......just to be left hanging and waiting. It makes us forget why we were drawn to you. Hope this helps you. Honestly.....most people just really like you and want to know what your up to.....even if you don't have anything going on.

Not gonna lie, when you (and other CZcamsrs) said you were stopping the vlogs on your vlog channel I unsubscribed. Why stay subbed to a channel that won’t be uploaded to? I had NO IDEA that you were uploading here again...now that I know it’s a trend I’ll just stay subbed I guess. 🤷♀️

because she can! she's young, has a job that doesn't restrict her to one place, and can afford too - so why the heck not! sooner or later, she, like most people, will be settling down and will probably be in the same place for decades... so why not move around a lot while you still can!

Why are people so bothered by her buying new stuff. I'm guessing these are people who've never had to move very far, or they would know unless you have antique furniture it's usually cheaper to sell or donate furniture than pay to move it to another state or waste money storing it until who knows when. She moves around a lot, she makes good money and she likes nice things why be upset or triggered about how she spends her own money. Besides she can most likely write it off on her taxes as a business expense.😒

Monica you’re far too talented to be filming the exact same things. Push yourself and explore your city. Go visit new places and film it. Love you and I understand what it’s like to be stuck in a rut but seriously you need to explore things and do things out of your comfort zone. Maybe people aren’t watching your videos because the last few have all been the same?
You're probably losing subscribers and views because your content has changed to an older audience and those people may not have found your channel yet. I watch every one of your videos 😊💕
