People say they'll miss Air, but trust me, it's fine. I first rode Galactica and it is now my favourite ride. The greatest makes the experience sooo good!

Thorpe park is my local theme park even though it's still 2 hours drive away. Alton Towers is 4 hours away so i've only been there once (for two days) whereas i go to Thorpe Park all the time, i still think Alton towers is better :D
OK so when your queing for round about and hour and your a little nervous because youve never been on it before there is only so many times you can listen to this great ride though

Maybe they're first-timers too. You never know. For what I know, I screamed and yelled the first time I went on it which was like... 5 years ago? After riding it once, I wanted to ride it again and again and again. My AIR riding record? Currently at 32 Rides.
I Agree! Putting VR On The Ride Was One Of The Worst Ideas Merlin Entertainments Have Ever Thought Of, & I Feel That The Forbidden Valley Is Under Threat As Space Could Take Over & Who Knows What Could Happen To Nemesis & Blade If Space Takes Over Forbidden Valley!

I always sat in the back. The back's more comfortable for me and my friends. The thing that makes it a bit worrying is the fact that the back puts more pressure on both, your bum and your back.
I loved air, galactica gets boring when u go on it a couple of times u already know what's going to happen, the headset wasn't tight enough (never is) and it keeps falling off my face, who also gets a bad neck after this ride? Also air had the camera so U could actually see u on the ride with ur hands up and not yourself on a Astro naught body. The experience is old for me, next time I go here I'm gonna ask if I can keep my headset off.
air. it was renowned for breaking down pretty much all the time, and the theming was bland, to say the least. however, it has a special place in my heart. as for Galactica, screw your surprisingly decent theming and your uncomfortable VR headsets. air is superior. come to think of it, it's exactly the same ride, like comparing a Mac with Mac OS installed with a Mac with windows installed. actually, that's a pretty **** comparison. never mind...
Galacticas theming is much better in my opinion, and people say that towers made a made a mistake although they didnt since they have made a huge profit over people coming for the vr

Go on Galactica no VR for Air, however it isn’t the same without the theme song in the queue. Galactica with VR is amazing too, though.

Still waiting to ride this.. was going to when I went to AT in July, and it broke down as soon as I got to the queue :(

At least you didn't get on it only for it to break down and get stuck in the air.
That for me was the only problem with air because it always broke down sad really :/

Thorpe Park has good music, too. I actually think the station music for Nemesis Inferno is the best soundtrack for a coaster I've ever heard.

First proper roller coaster I went on. *.*
I had front row Seats when I was on air with my dad
I always sat in the back. The back's more comfortable for me and my friends.

This is more of an experience ride than a thrill ride, its the best at alton towers. but thorpe park is better cause the queues are shorter :)
