Yeah, and defenders. There's some good attacking play to be seen, but all aspects of defense are atrocious. So many attackers get in behind the entire defense on one ball - often the entire back four at once, which should be a rare occasion. It even happens in this clip in the 0:59 mark, where one attacker casually jogs through a gaping hole down the middle and not one defender is facing the right way, or even aware of the attacker's movement.
to be fair all top 6 teams were really close to each other and Gremio was the only one without international competitions...still mad impressive though, especially considering they were botton half in possession, shots and all team stats and he did it in what in my opinion is still the sixth best league in the world. There's a reason he's in the Uruguay squad for the copa america
Suarez was an unstoppable force of nature when he played for Barcelona and Liverpool he could play in any league the reason why he isn’t talked about enough is because when you are always overshadowed by Messi and Ronaldo that’s why so many great players weren’t able to brake though to the ballon d’or because it was always Messi and Ronaldo
That's actually true... Im also one of those people who think most players with true potential are under the shadow of more Influential players.. Sad reality
no disrespect to suarez bro his technique and movement and positioning are still pretty fucking elite for his age and where he's at now but bro that fucking defense from mls teams are bloody terrible my goodness graciouss its completely open for him to attack
@BIazybut he’s 15 years older now, he is nowhere near his prime. Mls defenders are just shit they can’t defend. Suarez also has to take injections and pills everyday to be able to play, without them he wouldn’t even play in serie c
yes, but the defenses in the brazilian league were a lot tougher and he still was great (obviously not with the goal average he has in the mls but you get the point)
Suarez would still be an excellent player in the Premier League even now, his elite technique, positioning and finishing ability makes up for his declined pace.
Everyone knows how terrible mls keepers are and when ronaldo scores in saudi league no onw says anything and when messi and suarez scores against kids they a praised like they own football
@@bingchilling813 onana is a terrible keeper ngl and maguire too is a terrible defender, overall united entire squad is a joke. He was a great player for the whole of his career
MLS goalkeepers are something else

fr defence too
What's wrong with the goalkeepers?
The fact that Suarez carried a newly promoted Gremio to 2nd place with a hand injury is crazy🤯

@@rasulosmanbeyli35his last season 13/14 was the best season for a striker ever no question
0:31 I got Liverpool vibes here
The best Number 9 of the messi-ronaldo era
Him and Lewa. I'd say they are equal. Nobody gave me as much joy watching them play, as much as Suarez and Lewa.
@@phillipians4139was lewa really the Messi and rondo era?
@Brawl-halla yeah definitely, the later stages but definely still Messi Ronaldo era.
Lewy, Suarez & Benzema were the greatest strikers of that generation
Nobody really talks about Suárez anymore but he’s actually pretty good (One of my first times seeing him play for Inter Miami)
Some of the mls commentators sound like 442oons Todd Boehly voice actor
i like how bro plays rarely but drops masterclasses everygame he managed to play xD
He was just elected best player (Bola de Ouro/Golden Ball) of 2023 Brazilian national league, playing in the highest form

Suarez and Lewa are my goats.
every goal he scores is an all time MLS goal lmao
suarez is still GOD, takt it from me, i'm a Gremio fan
Wow i have a feeling that luis would be more useful to barca than lewa
All of that playing on one leg
form is temporary class is permanent
great commentary 😮
Have to say...suarez deals best with his aging. My fav player after forlan.
Now slow but still has the instincts
MLS needs a Puyol
At least he's not biting anyone
He can’t run now

Mls keepers aren't really that bad. People only say that because it's america but when onana concedes 17 goals a game its ok😂
Neither league is exactly the pinnacle of football, but it's not everything you need to bring ronaldo into
