Me watching this at 11pm, in my 2nd year of uni doing economics as well. I failed my courses too for the 2nd year and the idea of failure doesn't sit well with me. I feel so drained after experiencing failure, I just need a space to decompress. So thank you
I wouldnât worry about it. Your business is your business and yours alone (no. 1) and there are people who do courses with foundation-years, placement years and integrated Masterâs degrees, not even including repeat-years, at the end so a lot of people end up in higher-education for a very long time (6/7 years) and drained along the way but rewarded once they get their results.

Also I really like the fact that you are Christian as it is so important to remember that God is always with us, no matter what.
Just found out I failed all of my exams, I was supposed to be in my 3rd year but I'm not and now I think I will be stuck again on 2nd year next year. And since I never failed a class I'm feeling drained and dumb, thinking if school is for me or not. I don't want to give up on my dream but it's really affecting me mentally. Hey, thank you for this inspiring talk on your failure and how you have overcome and learned from it. This has motivated me to become stronger after just failing a compulsory module in my second year at University. Now, I will have to redo a semester sitting that module. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for sharing all parts of your life. High points or low points all matter to us no matter what. I have failed 9 times to passed the government exam and I was so thankful for Him to never forsake me. In His time, I know that things didnât go what we want always become amazing and miraculous. BTW, I canât wait to enroll in UoB this fall.
This is really good. I too am going through a tough time with a module in second year and it's really nice to know that as humans we all make mistakes.
I'm also going through basically the same thing. I do engineering at a decent Russell Group university but I have basically failed everything in my second year this year. I spoke to my tutor yesterday and it's looking like I'm going to have to resit the year. I truly feel like a disappointment but your video really helped me feel a lot better. I just hope that I'll be able to recover from my academic flop era lol

Itâs crazy literally the same situation is happening to me but Iâm seeing it as a blessing in disguise and this was God sent.
i donât even believe in god but i think iâm gonna have to redo my first year and iâve been the same, coasted thru highschool and college w good grades without ever having to really really work for it. so i did the same in uni, i didnât attend lectures, i let deadlines pile up because i thrive in last minute. then when it got to last minute, something serious happened and it drained all of my energy and my personality and my drive and passion for the degree iâm doing from me. now i have a chance to do it all again, the way i want to.

Hi, I go to university of Manchester, I have just received my results for my second year.. sadly they say that I wonât be progressing onto the third year, after my resits. I donât know what my options are now can I repeat the second year? Complete the module that Iâve failed on? Really donât know what to do and I donât really know what my options are from now on..
im facing a lot of internal fear right now- im entirely unsure if ill be able to progress to my 3rd year. dealing w that reality (and all the things that have led up to it) has been ridiculously tough. i wish more lovely people like you spoke out more about their experiences! i loved your perspective and its helped me feel more at home with mine.

Many universities provides merit and distinction at first attempt only.
I'm doing economics too about to drop it though. Struggled really bad with the stage 2 microeconomics paper most like failed. I'm second year but I have to retake course from first year and some I might have to do for a third time :'(.

Thank you for sharing your story! Itâs really nice to hear from a Christian perspective. Iâve always done well in school too and never thought Iâd be in this position now where Iâm just starting my repeat year (of second year). Itâs been a hard year mentally but Iâm trusting that thereâs a plan for this year ahead.
There is a plan! I can't begin to tell you how pivotal and important my repeat year was. I was only able to appreciate it in hindsight. God will use everything we surrender to Him, so surrender this year to Him and you will not regret it. Mentally it's a lot but His grace is sufficient and He's got you. Day by day and trust in Him

I feel like that is what is happening to me, and I definitely would not be smiling like you failing 2nd year of uni, I will see how it goes with the second semester and well... If I get kicked out or have to do another year ill probably just get 34 jobs to pay back that freakin tuition to my parents and just exist til I die

I retook a year in high school due to some personal stuff I couldn't finish that year. Now I m in 1st year of an amazing uni. But everything is soo damn hard. I feel like I m gonna fail I m so scared that another year will be gone. I hope I won t be retaking the year cause I m so exhausted
Talk with someone with you problems. Could be counseling in your university or even a doctor. It is scary to open up but they are there to help and wont judge you.
I m studying Acca and I failed a year of uni last year and I have lost motivation for my course but I have still kept going. I just wrote another set of exam this month and I don't feel good about them .
Am in my last level so giving up feels like il lose a lot of money that I have invested.

Lots have people have to redo the year and still fail so don't feel ashamed. Just be glad that you got into university of west of England Bristol.

I have failed second yr but when I retake it all my assessments at being capped at 40% đ
I failed every course almost in my second year đ
So i failed my exams for 2nd year, ive done resits in august but i think i failed those too. If i dont pass these exams it wont be classified as a qualifying law degree. I dont know what to do if i fail my resit exams. Help
