Just remember, Zemo tried to kill himself. He was probably standing there hoping Bucky would pull the trigger. He wasn't originally intentionally a bad guy, he just got sick of the people on glass pedestals and thought it was time they shattered. I can understand that, I have a toxic workplace.

You missed one detail. When Sam was training with the shield, in the running scenes he left room on his left for Steve
I just can't get enough of the Sam/Bucky bromance and I don't want it to end. I can't remember the last time I watched something where the actors had as much chemistry as Mackie and Stan.
They are actually good friends off screen as well.

A small detailing you might have missed
That when Bucky says I am right handed and
I always not think of left hand immediately
It is not just for a joke
We can observe from captain America the winter Soldier, civil war, and falcon and the winter Soldier that whenever he is winter Soldier (I mean when he was being controlled) he always uses left hand, but whenever he is Bucky ( I mean when he is himself and not being controlled by anyone) he uses right hand most of the times.
I think it is a quite good detailing marvel had put into this character.

The reasons are that he was built by the government meaning that he worshipped the government but when the government rejected john walker as captain america for what he did to niko is unbearable. Pretend being rejected by your own family. That is what john walker feels like when he got rejected and his own best friend died because of a super soldier. He is now lonley with no one to talk to

The Isaiah Bradley scene, never felt woke or forced because, it was organic. That is why it works. There were seeds planted early that grew into this powerful scene.

07:05 one thing I really appreciated about that scene is that we see the phone dialing a number, and the screen turn to black as he holds it to his head. Unlike many other films and shows that just go right to a black screen like the phone isn't even on. We actually see Sam/Anthony actually calling someone.

I see many people disliked the show coz they paid attention to racism. Such a poor mindset
@@the_faraaz They disliked it because they made half the series about race and it wasn't what always appeared in the MCU and was new to them (I was one of them). And in a lot of places the race thing is almost gone, atleast where I live. In conclusion, they just weren't ready to accept it and it felt like it was forced onto them
There are far better and far more nuanced ways of including discussion about racial politics. They basically said their intended message word for word rather than letting you draw upon that conclusion for yourself. It's the most in-your-face way of discussing these kinds of things and also the most obnoxious.

I like how Bucky easily opens up to Sam and not at his therapist. The writers conveyed Sam's therapeutic skills that was first showed in Captain America: The Winter Sold ier when he once led a support group.

I realized that Bucky opening up to Sam was also how he helped out Captain America too, the consistency is just awesome in MCU

I feel Sam's new suit would be his new Captain America suit. He had this look on his face that felt like it was something more important than a new Falcon suit
The saddest thing of this episode is that no one but John and Lemar’s family cared about his death. His death is basically just brushed off aside, Bucky and Sam don’t really even care. They already moved on to different things, yet no one recognizes the continuing trauma that John would face when it comes to this loss. If Isaiah was dehumanized by the government, John was being dehumanized by the narrative of this story and by the heroes and the govt and the public. His best friend died and no one (except maybe his wife and his best friend’s family) truly gave him a chance to grieve.
John walker got his heart broke so bad, that he became a youtuber under the name Hack smith and started making a shield.
James would find that hilarious I think.

It also recalls the end of Captain America: The First Avenger in which the kids are playing with a garbage can lid painted to resemble the shield as a makeshift toy.
I don't like though how what happened to Isaiah was no different really to what HYDRA did to Bucky and yet they refuse to acknowledge Bucky was a victim. Because he's white I guess.

Just one detail which I felt was shown is - After Bucky nd Sam walks away there's this scene of Sam and Sarah to paint the boat...were the box of paint sam holds shows a layout of what we saw in last episode i.e the blue and white combo, wings nd a circular shape of shield.
Bucky didn't like people beside Steve call him Bucky in the first episodes, but now he introduces himself as Bucky to Sarah, that means he's becoming more friendly.

I guess, when an actor is so good that you actually hate the character and get angry every time you see them, the actor knows that they've done a good job. Coz if his acting was not so great, I guess we would not have hated jonh Walker so much. But it's really going overboard with the death threats

Kinda neat that while Sam was practicing among the trees he was messing up more, but he only has to go and pick up back up. But the first time in the montage where he nails it is when he's tossing the shield out toward the water, where it was more likely to get lost! You could say that he put faith in himself and the shield, let go of his doubt, and trusted that it could come back to him, and so it did.

@Zippy9000 Bucky and Steve were friends since they were kids. I think it was civil war were Bucky says Steve's mums name to show to him and Sam that hes not mind controlled at that moment. Bucky was close to Steve and his parents, tahts why he smiled when Steve's mums name was mentioned.
