Actually chihaya love arata at the first place and you can see it the difference of chihaya's reaction when they confess. If taichi didn't confess maybe chihaya give answer to arata when they meet again but because of that she didn't, for the sake of there friendship.

Arata and queen should have ended up together,think in upcoming season chihaya would understand what taichi was for her and taichi and chihaya would end up together, other hand arata's feeling was not as intense as taichi,he can move on to the lonely queen, hope this happen 😭, neither taichi would be lonely in his rest life

@@taekooksmaid7098 There is a lot, one of them is i felt arata is the right person for her. He is the one that first gave her a goal to pursue. He bring the best in her. There is a saying opposite attract each other. Arata(Introvert) is the opposite of Chihaya(Extrovert). The most import is his accent.
Don't get me wrong. Taichi is a great guy. It just that the manga+ anime never shown any instance that chihaya have a feeling to taichi, even jealousy. The most i seen is guilty after his confession as she know that there is nothing she can do to ease that pain and the though of losing her bff.
On the other hand, there is a lot for arata like the background changing when arata came or smile to her, her poem she wrote in hospital, did not reject arata confession but postpone it and she look jealous when seeing arata vs queen match. That is my reason.
@@taekooksmaid7098 i think taichi is too much for chihaya. And if you read the manga, in the plot it says it's about the love story of chihaya and arata.
